The House of the Damned: Sin & Deceit (A Dark Romance)

The House of the Damned: Sin & Deceit (A Dark Romance)

Georgia - The silence in the cellar wasn’t real. It was alive—a cunning, creeping thing that licked at the walls like a living thing, testing for weakness. It wanted me to believe I was alone. That nothing existed beyond these damp stone walls and the single, rusted lock keeping me in this rectangular purgatory. But silence, like most everything else in this house, was a liar. If you were patient—if you sat in the darkness long enough, let your breathing slow to almost nothing, let your heartbeat settle into the rhythm of the dying—you would hear them.

The Blood Curse

The Blood Curse

Finally, she found the one she was looking for. Layla managed to grab the book and add it to her stack in her arms when her eyes caught sight of something. A book stood out among the rest. It was bound with dark brown leather and had brandished designs on the spine. The title read - Malleus Vampiro: A Treatise on Vampires. Placing her other books on the floor, Layla pulled the leather-bound book from its home amongst the others and opened it. As her eyes skimmed the pages, she caught a couple of words; SHADOW STALKERS, BLOODSUCKER, PHANTOMS.

He said. So I walked over to my desk on the other side of the room and I turned the computer on. I logging in and I started hacking into the dark web immediately and immediately I started looking at all different chatter that was happening. But none of it was vampires. It was all about the town that was taken out, but it was mostly werewolves talking about it. Communicating with other packs to try and find out more information. I’m searching on the web for hours without even realizing it when someone knocks on the door.

The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

Cassandra muttered, "or worse...poisonous." There were some signs that people had wandered into the cellar before, but they wouldn't come as far as the deepest, darkest part of it. A few might have, but it was so dark and scary and damp that even the bravest of heart would turn right back. Besides the mansion was also rumored to be haunted. No doubt that the secret storeroom seemed to be the last place that remained the same. Their sense of triumph was tempered with awe at the sheer quantity of bottles that shone in the rays of the full moon through the windows.

Her Darkness, His Light

Her Darkness, His Light

He just crept up behind me when I was looking out the window and did it. ~~~~ The next day when I woke up, it just felt odd. I felt like I rested for too long. That's when I looked at the small table beside the bed. Four books were there. Stacked up. I quickly got up and saw the time. My eyes widened in shock. It was eight at night!! That made me realize that the Dark Prince had already gone for war. I sat on the bed trying to shake the tiredness away. That's when I heard a knock.

His darkness

His darkness

Hell, a dinosaur could stomp in front of me and I wouldn't notice because of the dark. My legs stopped only after a few final strides. I stopped walking and just stood. The cold air was making my body shiver badly. My head looked at the ground, and I felt a wet pool of thick liquid surrounding my foot. I saw blood, a lot of blood. On the grass, on my hands, on my clothes, and all-around despite the darkness as if a sudden light exposed those parts. The blood made me scream on the inside but my body didn't react. My eyes followed the trail of blood on their own and stopped suddenly. It took me a second to make out the body on the ground and flames suddenly appeared, burning the lifeless corps

The Ascension

Shaking her head, she said, "But aren't you only like that because you idiotically accepted an accursed book from a nobody? You said, you don't even believe in ghosts before you got that." He sighed and took out the book which always appeared inside his pocket for several months now. The book was giving off a mysterious vibe due to its black worn-out cover featuring a faceless monster. He got it from a fake friend who had styled himself as a book collector. Nathan was a horror writer so he accepted the creepy book. His initial objective was only to look for more ideas and inspiration. Who would have thought the horror writer who never believed in ghost would suddenly start seeing creepy ghos

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

Black as the Forest (All the Hounds of Hell #1)

Given that the team was bigger than most, it did help cover more ground when there was a change in employment or leave of absences. I also got to see a good overview of the whole of Blakemore and decided that I needed to learn more about other shifters. I was to represent more than werewolves, and I needed to do this right, so Henry suggested that I went to Blakeden’s library which had a vast collection of work on werecreatures, along with a lot of other supernaturals. Actually, Blakeden had one of the rare Unis with classes in magic, faerie history, vampire lore and anything that had to do with our world. Including even classes on interactions and dealings between humans and non-humans.
