His face was unchanged except for his once ice blue eyes were now two black pits, the flicker of fire in each, like the pits of hell themselves.
He stood before me, his chest heaving with each breath, his long talented hands clenching as he fought for control over himself. His eyes lingered on me. I watched mesmerised as his horns drew back into his head and his fingers returned to normal. His eyes were the last thing to return, and even when they had, the black pupil remained large so that barely any blue was present. His inner beast was on edge should he be needed again.
“You...” Swallowing a large lump in my front I grappled with the right term, “You, changed? You had horns?”
