Authors pov…… In the deepest, darkest recesses of the room, shadows lurk, ready to pounce. A faint glow from the lone candle illuminates only a fraction of the room, and the corners lie in complete darkness, their secrets hidden away from the naked eye. The floorboards creak beneath your feet, their voice the only sound in the stillness of the night. The air is thick with the smell of dust and decay, a reminder of the passage of time and the inevitable march of entropy.
