I have to focus on the light within me, to push back against the darkness. Umbra raises his hand, and a wave of dark energy surges towards me. I brace myself, preparing for the impact. But then, I feel a surge of power within me. I channel my own darkness, focusing it into a powerful beam. I fire the beam at Umbra, and it collides with his dark energy. There's a blinding flash of light, and then silence. When my vision clears, I see Umbra standing a few feet away from me. I can’t make out his expression but I can sense that he’s in shock and disbelief.
