Holding her back close to my chest, I covered her ears with my warm palms and forced her face in a soft circle while her face convulsed in a painful expression to show the hurt that the song and my obstinacy reflected in the next stanza of the song. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * An

"Fucking creep." 'She's not trying to escape like every other time! I've got her!' "Hey, can I hold your hand to school?" Victor asked, practically bouncing on his toes. The desperation in his thoughts was deafening. "Whatever," I huffed. He latched onto my hand immediately, his face lighting up like it was Christmas and I was the only present under the tree. 'Me and my sweet Angel!' "How do you feel today?" he asked. "Awkward," I replied honestly.

I understood what she meant so I just kept my calm. "There's so many." The lady looked at us. "Mind helping me darlings? You know, I only have two hands. Can't hold them all," she said smiling and cringed her nose. "Yes Ma'am," Rosia answered in a flat tone. I thought the two of them were going to hold it but again, for the nth time, I was surprised when the lady just left Rosia without holding anything. I looked at the food and the plates on the table. Rosia can't hold it by herself.

Then who was this she was holding that wasn't her daughter, was she dreaming? She did a double check and looked down at the feet of the individual; it was very big, two times bigger than Katie's and she glanced up and then she shook herself off the individual, as she moved away, she looked at person, her heart went to her mouth. 'Oh God!' Then she shook herself hard. Pearl, what have you done? She frolicked with her fingers, wondering how she ended up holding...... She watched him smile at her, why was he smiling?

“Hold my hand, little ones, I'll take thee away into a land of wonders.” The first words and the first line of the soul snatching song, and a song that is meant for children and not for the adults. “Hold my hand, little one, it’s time to come out and play, take my dolls as we will sing. Drip, drip, drip. I'll teach you how, through all the pain, and the sorrows. Let them weep, let them crawl, for life is this way. Murdering beauty and passions. Hold my hand, little one, it must be this way. Too weary of life, and deceptions. Hold my hand, little one, for soon we'll away, to the eerie and silence.”

He was still looking at me as if that song was really for me. “Hold my hand We will travel together relentlessly and nothing can stop us Because, god is my guide Oh, my dear Oh, my dear Oh, my dear Oh, my dear” He finished the song. The score of... ***

Chelsea Red sang, "Well I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know, She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home, I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets, To carry love, to carry children of our own, We are still kids, but we're so in love, Fighting against all odds, I know we'll be alright this time, Darling, just hold my hand, Be my girl, I'll be your man, I see my future in your eyes."

I explain. "What song?" he inquires, even though he already knows it's my favorite. "The one you just sang," I reply, absentmindedly playing with my hair, which won't be there for much longer. "Shall I stay? Would it be a sin if I can't help falling in love with you?" His voice is flawless. I used to play this song when I couldn't fall asleep. "Like a river flows, surely to the sea. Darling, so it goes, some things are meant to be." I feel his fingers gently combing through my hair. It's a reflex, they say, in moments like these. Perhaps he's as tired as I am. "Take my hand, take my whole life too. For I can't help falling in love with you." I resist the urge to close my eyes, wanting to hea
