Dalton hung up his phone in annoyance. Turns out the number Dalton dialed was not Darla, Philiph and Meredith's daughter. Even though everything would be easy if the number Dalton dialed really belonged to Darla. At least Dalton could report this to Harvey since Harvey kept charging for a progress.

Kairo, who was still in a state of melancholy, stood up from the bed and slowly followed Arlo. Dalton shook his head as he watched all of this. "Am I the only sane person in here?" he asked to himself. It seems like he has deluded himself that he is a normal person when in reality, he's probably the craziest of them all. He was about to leave the room to go fetch Ella before going to the church, but he suddenly remembered the box of tissue papers sitting on the bedside table. He made sure to pocket those tissues because he's sure that Arlo will burst into tears during their marriage ceremony.

Darren muttered, focusing on the files on his decks. “But, Raina…”’ Dora opened her mouth to say something, but Darren immediately interrupted her, “Stop it. Never mentioned her name in front of me, ever again. Do you understand?” Dora grunted in dissatisfaction, but she didn’t dare to disobey his orders. Finally, she turned around and stomped out of the office. After Dora left, Darren collapsed on his chair. The name Dylan Stevens kept popping up in his mind. ‘Who was he?’

"Mr. Dalton has declined every partnership attempt—politely, I must add. However, securing him is crucial if we want to move ahead of our competitors." A low hmm rumbled from Alex’s throat. "Gayle?" Without looking up, Gayle finally spoke. "He’s a betting man. Goes to a high-end casino every night—8:41 p.m. sharp. Never misses. Not a heavy drinker, but on his good days, he stops by for one or two before heading home. Oh, and…" A smirk played on his lips as he finally glanced up, ending a knowing look down Sheila’s way. "He seems to have a soft spot for dark-skinned women."

Anna might go soft on them, but he was not one to stand idly by while some people threw dirt on them. The next on Dalton’s call logs was Orius Crale. He must have been waiting for Dalton’s phone call because he picked up right away when Dalton dialed his number. “Mr. Guevarra,” he greeted at once. “Mr. Crale,” Dalton greeted back. “I am calling to remind you about our deal.”

"How did you know?" Even if he was caught, Darren remained composed, as if nothing could bother him. "Did you go there to see Yuna?" "I did fly there to see Yuna. But it's a shame someone kicked me out of that place before I could see her." Darren looked at him. "Do you know who kicked me out?" Ashton frowned and asked, "Who was it?" "Carl Edwards," Darren said. He added, "I hadn't even done anything yet. But the first thing he did after hearing the news was to catch me. He even sent me onto a plane. I bet he'll send people to watch me if I ever visit Phoenix City again."

She mumbled and kept her eyes on me as she smiled. “Yeah, Sam gets to wake up without his wife every morning. But you know what? We get to wake up as the past years of our lives had imagined. We get to wake up without Dalton. We get to wake up with the guilt of not being able to do so much when those rogue werewolves attacked.”

If Nolan standing to his feet shocked him, the next voice he heard, sent his shock into overdrive. "...and I, Alpha Rinaldi, of the Salvatore pack, also stand with Alpha Caleb of the Duncan Pack, and against Alejandro, at this trial." Caleb turned his head toward the direction of Rinaldi's voice so fast, he nearly had whiplash. Rinaldi gave him a smirk and a wink that caused Caleb to grin. He hadn't seen his friend in months, but Rinaldi looked incredibly good, and if he was at this meeting, that meant he had reclaimed possession of his pack.

I glanced down at the vial still in my hand, wondering what price I'd be forced to pay. Daxton stirred beneath my hands, and he let out a low groan, his eyelids twitching. Then his fingers curled into the edge of the blanket I'd covered him with. His head turned slightly towards my voice. "Daxton?" His eyes cracked open, barely. "We're going to get help," I whispered quickly. "Lucien knows someone...a healer. Darren. He can undo it. He can stop the pain." Daxton's brow furrowed like he was trying to drag himself back from the edge. "Darren?" His voice was hoarse and barely audible.

I don't know why they did it but when I find them they are going to be three very sorry mother fuckers. "How are Rachel and Tara doing?" I ask Bonnie while she remains cuddled into me. "Neither of them has said much. I think they're both still in shock." While Tristian and Alberto were mateless, Shaun had a mate. The moment I told Rachel what he had done, the way she reacted made it more than clear that she had no idea about what he was planning on doing. There was no faking her shock and hurt and for that, she will be supported, not blamed for his mess.
