His Regret: I'm with his uncle now

His Regret: I'm with his uncle now

“Ladies and gentlemen,” the host began, “tonight we are proud to present the future of Dalton Hotels, founders and Operators of Rhett's. Please welcome—your CEO, Warren Dalton. Your COO, Arden Rhett. And your new CFO, Cassidy Murphy.” A spotlight cut across the room. It landed on the three of them as they stepped forward. Cassie’s heels clicked softly on the marble floor. Her chest rose and fell too fast, but she lifted her chin and kept walking.

Caleb

Caleb

The significance of these banks to him, meant that, he would always love spending time here. Caleb emerged from the water, running his hand through his hair as he spoke, “One of these days, we will have to address your propensity for cheating.” He said, as he picked up a pair of pants laying on top a rock, and pulled it over his long, muscular thighs and legs. Roy laughed, “The Alpha sounds like a sore loser.” Caleb scoffed, “We both know I got that squirrel first.” “Speak louder, if you will, Caleb. I do not think the squirrel heard you, all the way in my stomach.”

Alpha Marcel

Alpha Marcel

Marcel didn’t say a word, he didn’t object on his beta, and clearly his best friend, staying in the room. “Do you want to get something to drink?” He asked me, and I shook my head as I looked down at the man who I knew was fighting back his own blood. “Thank you for calling me.” I said, looking at Vladimir who nodded. “I should be the one thanking you for trusting me.” He said, watching as Marcel fought back his own demons tonight, fought back his pain and anger. Whatever had caused this trigger, I knew that it was not easy for him to control.

The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

Perhaps it was because he and Dalton hadn't seen each other for a long time, in addition to the fact that they really had a close relationship—whatever the case, Curtis hadn't turned around and left just yet, which he probably would have in any other situation. "Hardly," he said with a snort. "We're much more than just acquaintances! How could I forget him with a personality as hard to come by as his?" He didn't expect Dalton to smile and say, "That's right. Mr. Zeller really has a good personality. He helped us so much yet hasn't asked for anything in return. He apparently helped us simply for the sake of friendship."

Alpha Rasmus

Alpha Rasmus

Catherine muttered as she ate her pasta ignoring her laughing friends. "I would love to see the hunk who ignored her." Avery mused as she ate her salad. She and her love for dieting. Joseph's ears perked up as he rounded his eyes around the cafeteria until they finally landed on the man of their conversation. "There to my right two tables away. The lone guy. That is Rasmus Colt." Joseph mused as Avery's jaw dropped and she gaped at Rasmus. Not only her, but Quinn also stared at Rasmus.

I am so enjoying this series. can hardly put this book down. Please Author, I think it would make a great storyline if Angela and Luca are mated...so much baggage to overcome:- he was in love with her sister, he is a bit older than her and she seems to get on his nerves... a lot to work with there!

The Darling of the Paranoid Tycoon

The Darling of the Paranoid Tycoon

Harriet felt regretful that she hadn't noticed his affection in their last lives. Thankfully... Harriet felt touched. In contrast, the reporters were deterred and puzzled. They recognized Delbert as Harriet's assistant. 'But how could a mere assistant possess such an imposing aura?' They wondered. They had only seen such a bone-chilling aura from one person before. And the thought of that person made their skin crawl. Delbert Carlson was the richest man in Meawood City. He rarely took action. Once he did, it would be sensational. Darryl was nowhere near him.

"Darin gave a headshake. "What's the purpose? It would be even more difficult to see her. It's likely that she doesn't even remember me. When he and their mother left, she was just nine years old. Russell

He crashed with a thud, his eyes bulging as he looks at me in shock. "Un... Uncle Fred!" "Don't uncle me, you fucking coward. Why haven't you told Russell who you really are? And why the hell are you pretending to help him? You know damn well your daddy doesn't hold sponsorships for any damn sports. Caleb has never been a fanatic of sports, so speak up! What games are you playing here boy?" I threatened him, getting closer to his face.

Alpha Adrain

Alpha Adrain

“My stomach dropped. James’s expression turned serious. “Whatever is happening between you and Alpha Adrian… you should end it now, Rox. You don’t want that kind of trouble.” The bell rang, cutting off any reply. We stood and regrouped. Jack and the other alphas, except Adrian, waited at the front. One of them stepped forward: a tall man with his hair tied in a man bun and a neatly trimmed goatee. “Now that most of you have gotten the hang of the single-leg lateral hops with the bear hug,” he said, scanning our tired faces, “we’ll move on to the next exercise. He offered a small smile. “In case you forgot, I’m Liam, Alpha of the Moonlight Pack.”

Find Him

Find Him

“Curtis Nayler… one of the owners of Triple AAA Landscapes. He and his cousin are who, I believe, have been vandalizing my job sites. Curtis was a short, stocky man. Although his arms were thick and muscled, his belly was big and soft. He opened the door and stepped in. His little brown beady eyes had a look of thunder. He glared at Olivia. “You had better keep your mouth shut.” He said. “Excuse me, I don’t believe we’ve met,” Dean said. “Oh, I know who you are, Grayson, and I’m not talking to you. I’m addressing this mouthy bitch who keeps running to the sheriff and telling lies about me and my cousin.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Darrel Curtis is one of those characters who feels so real that it's easy to forget he's fictional. From 'The Outsiders', he's the tough but caring older brother who carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. S.E. Hinton wrote the novel when she was just a teenager, and she drew from her observations of the social divides in her hometown. While Darrel isn't based on a single real person, he embodies the struggles and resilience of many young men in similar situations—working-class kids trying to keep their families together. Hinton's ability to capture that raw, emotional authenticity makes Darrel feel like someone you might actually know.

What's fascinating is how Darrel's character resonates across generations. Even though the book came out in the '60s, his struggles with responsibility, sacrifice, and love are timeless. I've talked to people who grew up in totally different eras who still see pieces of their own lives in Darrel. That's the magic of Hinton's writing—she didn't need a direct real-life counterpart to create someone unforgettable.
