I didn't get an answer because the Frost Cloud Warriors began sniffing the air and all their eyes turned to my direction. “Shit,” I muttered then raised my flames. “You cannot die, your highness” Killian asserted, grabbed my waist, and swept me away from the danger. “My daughter, Killian?!”

I marched directly into the center of the interrogation room. The wounded soldier looked up, clutching his bleeding shoulder as a bloody sneer split his lips. "The supreme Luna," he mocked, coughing up a spray of crimson. "Come to watch the execution? You’re too late. The Star of Crystalvale is already on its way to our masters."

A loud bang followed the fired bullet, and Sarah snatched the gun from Frank and aimed it back at him. Sarah had no time for anything else, as she felt the strangest commotion behind her back. Turning her head slightly on the side while gripping the gun in her hands, Sarah encountered the most unusual sight. Something she doubted any living being on the planet witnessed before. Luke was up but not on his feet. He was levitating above the ground, going higher and higher. He wasn’t doubled in pain anymore, but he didn’t seem to be conscious either. His eyes were wide opened but still looked like an abyss.

“Lily, do you have any wishes for the new year?” Perhaps my expression stood out too much in the middle of all the celebration. Daniel suddenly called my name. “I want a raise,” I said. My voice wasn’t loud, but everyone heard it. The room suddenly fell silent. People slowly turned to look at me. The smile on Daniel’s face disappeared. “What did you say?” He walked down from the stage. He tossed the microphone aside, and it let out a sharp screech. “Say it again.” He stopped in front of me.

He walked to where Damien stood. "What's going on?" "Their leader escaped before he could be captured. He's the one we need," Daniel looked back at the men that had been caught. Three were dead but the rest were alive. "His men are here. We can get information from them." Damien didn't look like he was sure. "They're strogoids, a species of Rogues that are extremely loyal to their masters. They won't disclose any information till their master is found dead." Daniel sighed and nodded. "They shouldn't be killed yet."

He couldn't be sure, but he knew one thing for certain—he had to be more cautious. Darth woke up early that morning with a troubled mind. He had spent the previous night brooding over Ethan's show of kindness towards him. He was sure that the boss must have been made aware of how he was almost beaten at the bar, yet he never bothered to reach out to him, nor could he send someone to reach out to him. Darth realized that the boss didn't care about him and that his only interest was achieving his goal.

D-DAY-2 = DOOMSDAY Vlad opened his eyes, his black iris now replaced by blood red ones.
