Dashner Maze Runner Mga Nobela at Kwento

Remus and Sandro stood up from their seats, they stepped out, when they were only two steps away from the place, they realized that they did not know the way back to their room. Their last memory was only a staircase and a turn to the right, but where the stairs were they didn't know, plus there was no one passing by to be questioned. "I think because you're a werewolf...You can use your wind reading skills or a compass, my friend!" Mocked Sandro to Remus. The two of them were still standing on the spot. Confused about which way to go. "Ha... Ha. So cute! As I recall, we went through the peach-colored kitchen on our way up to those stairs. It looks like it's color-coded here. Peach will go w

The maze's security cameras provided fragmented footage, but I could still make out every pained movement, every calculated breath Rose took. She was hurt—badly. I could see it in the way she cradled her side, the way her body tensed before every motion. The earlier traps had cost her more than time. The rest of the team stood frozen behind her, their hesitation weighing down the seconds. But Rose? She didn’t hesitate. I glanced at the countdown. Four minutes, twenty-five seconds. Beyond the stone and blood stained maze walls stood the final obstacle—the iron-clad man. A towering figure wrapped in dark steel, motionless before the massive red door.

“The Ironclad.” Dane didn’t answer. He just stared at the ashes, at the faintly glowing runes that had nearly killed me. For a long, terrible moment, I thought he’d drop me. But instead, he pulled me closer, his heartbeat hammering through his chest. “Get the healers,” he growled. “Now.” As they rushed to obey, he carried me out, down the halls, past the staring guards, past Leona’s horrified gasp. His grip was firm but trembling, his scent thick with fury and fear.

Finn tried to attack his double, but his blade passed through it harmlessly. “They’re not real,” Darius said, his voice calm. “They’re testing us. We have to outsmart them.” Seren closed her eyes, focusing her shadow magic. “The maze thrives on confusion. Stay grounded in who you are, and it can’t touch you.” One by one, the group confronted their doppelgängers, speaking truths about themselves that banished the illusions. Finally, they reached the maze’s center, where a glowing orb awaited. Finn grabbed it, and the maze dissolved into nothingness, leaving the team standing victorious.

But what we do find is a little bit different to what we expected. We reach the monsters hideout and what we find is a small clearing, with a large Land Rover, which is yellow and looks like it only arrived last night. I glance at Ash. “This wasn’t part of my dream.’

As they stepped into the cool, damp air of the night, the rain had transformed into a light drizzle, misting the surroundings in a haze. The world outside felt lush and alive, yet ominous with an undercurrent of uncertainty. George led the way, Elora and Maya close behind, each step bringing them closer to a sanctuary that felt both like a refuge and a line crossed. "Stay close," George advised, casting a watchful glance over his shoulder. "We don't know who might be watching."

The battle “It’s too quiet,” Daniel muttered from behind, echoing Nathan’s exact thoughts. Darius glanced back, his face impassive. “She’s underground. The warehouse is just a front.” Nathan’s jaw tightened. “Underground? How do we get down there?” “There’s an access point inside,” Darius replied. “A hatch in the floor. It leads to a network of tunnels. That’s where she is.” Nathan exchanged a look with Ashina, but she immediately tore her gaze away. The idea of walking into an underground labyrinth filled with undead werewolves sent a chill down his spine, but they had come too far to turn back now.

Hunter appears seconds later as I place the glass in the sink. He leads me out of the building I have been kept in as we walk down these long, dark tunnels. It’s like a maze, with them veering off right and left. There are ladders that lead to hatches. It’s clear they run the length of the pack. The air is rather cold and I can feel a chill over my exposed skin. I don’t say anything to Hunter. Should I even know these tunnels exist? I’m shocked he hasn’t blindfolded me. I could easily escape … then I notice by one of the hatches there is a fingerprint scanner. Guess that’s why he doesn’t care. Even if I made a break for it, I’m not going anywhere.

"The one about the bed that isn't made of splinters?" "You're currently driving a mobile laboratory, Darius," she said, a wicked glint in her eyes. "I’m sure we can find a use for the padded chairs." I let out a low, human growl. "Keep talking like that, and I’m pulling over in the middle of the apocalypse." But then, the dashboard screen flickered to life. It wasn't Silas. It wasn't the Council. It was a map. And in the center of the map, a single gold dot was pulsing.

CHAPTER 49 LYRA The black maze loomed ahead of us, Darius led the way, his voice stern as he addressed us. “This is the Maze of Illusions,” Darius said, his eyes scanning each of us. “It’s far worse than what you’ve faced before. You’ll be confronted with your worst fears. Stay too long in the illusion, and you won’t be able to tell it from reality. And if you lose yourself… you die.” A heavy silence fell over the group. My heart thudded painfully in my chest. I glanced at Esmeralda, who looked pale. We were splitting up, each of us forced to face the maze alone.
