Roslyn reeled back into the sitting, her eyes well up as she swallowed the lump forming in her dried throat. “What happened? Ya don’t look yourself.” Her mother asked solemnly, “I-I called his mother like you’ve suggested.” She shuttered, “he isn’t in his parent’s place; but my mother-in-law said she might know where we can find him.” “Okay, did she tell ya the place?” Roslyn looked doubtful and jiggled her head. “No, she didn’t; but she assured me that David will return home soon.” “Oh lord, thank you.” said the older woman; “she told me another thing.” Roslyn muttered, “What did she tell you?”
