AVA'S POV; “Ava!!” I suddenly heard my name and ran down the stairs. I told Davis never to call my name like that for no good reason. “Why did you yell like that?!” I yelled back when I came down and saw Davis with a girl in a short brown skirt and a crop top. Another of his exploits. “It’s Dad. He wants to speak to you,” Davis said, passing me the phone. “Then why didn’t he just call my phone?”

It was him, the same man that confessed to her sister and there he stood, discussing something with her father. "Mate!" Daisy blurted out as she couldn't control herself around him. "What?" The man raised his head to look at her, then glanced at her father. His eyes are cold and intimidating. No one would dare looking directly at them. "My name is Daisy Ivanovich, the second daughter of the Ivan's and you are my mate," she replied, eagerly. Alpha Damon raised his brows slightly. "You are mistaken. The Ivan's has only one daughter, Meridith. And she is my mate."

“My God—Damon, it’s from Daven.” My chest tightened hard enough to hurt. “Open it,” I said, steady even as something cold crept through my veins. She tapped the screen. A video played. Daven. He dropped the device, stepping backward until his boot heel caught on the edge of the sheer cliff drop behind him. Loose pebbles cascaded down into the infinite darkness of the Dead Zone below.

Davis's eyes grew in astonishment, he's never seen someone solve his puzzles. He gave Thanatos a thumbs up. "My mom and uncle Arthur can't solve it fast" he said. "Of course, I normally do this when I was a kid.. I have all kinds of puzzle then" Thanatos replied. Davis stopped smiling and narrowed his eyes at Thanatos, he studied him for some seconds. "Are you trying to get close to me?" He asked him. Thanatos couldn't reply, because Davis is correct.. he's trying to get close to Davis to win Jasmine back.

I giggled a little and hit him with a single-word response.
