Chapter Thirteen I woke up to the sunshine steaming through the window. I let out a yawn and stretched my tired body out. My arms still ached from all the work from yesterday. I jumped out of the bed and quickly washed then got dressed. I could not afford upset the alpha anymore. I knew full well that if I wasn't up and making breakfast for the pack, then I would be beaten again. I prepared pancakes and helped the other omegas to set up the dining hall. It was almost seven am before we had finally got everything completed.

“I want my daughter at home. She will be cared for there. Once my granddaughter is found, she too will be returned to my family. Mia will no longer be permitted to enter these grounds and I shall be ordering your son to reject my granddaughter. She deserves better than this.” His words shocked the others but nobody dared to disobey him. “Yes, of course.” Antonio nodded glad that he was understood. MY HEART WAS BEATING like crazy while staring at Dawn. Her face was painted crimson as if she just ate a bunch of chili peppers and her drunk eyes can no longer focus on me. She totally ripped off her shirt and threw it on the couch exposing her red bra that has laces on the sides. Are you really looking at those details right now?! Damn Dawn! Just when we were having fun and started to have a normal conversation she suddenly acted possessed by another enchantress. If I only knew that she would act the same way when she was sick, then I should have declined her idea of drinking.

Lucas promised to keep me updated and sent me on my way. The boys had done their chores and were already settled in for the night when I returned home.
