Oh, and did I also forget to mention that AJ left before any of us could wake up, I guess she's still scared from last night, and I felt really bad about it. "Good morning girls" Danny barged into the room in which we we're still asleep. "I got up early to help Stella with breakfast" Danny said as she dragged off the blankets off our faces. "Five more minutes Mom" Zoe said as tried to cover her eyes from the light. "One, I'm not your Mom and two, if I were, you would have been up by Dawn" Danny wispered into Zoe's ears but audible for all of us to hear... And the way she said those words were really scpooky.

A large mirror appeared in front of me. I was pinned in a hidden corner behind it. The sounds started quickly. Two figures tumbled onto the bed. Serena tore open Ethan's white shirt. "Come on, let me see if you still have those abs. I've been dying for this." Ethan glanced at me through the mirror, then turned back to Serena. "You know I'm not Caleb. You never give me much time. Two days from now you won't be mine anymore. So tonight, can we pretend this is our wedding night?"

She rested her hand gently on my back, and her voice was soft. “Does it still hurt?” It was such a simple question, yet it undid me completely. I had endured every humiliation and every wound without shedding a tear since my rebirth. With just that simple comfort, I broke down completely, burying my face in her arms as sobs wracked my body. I cried and cried until exhaustion finally pulled me into sleep. When I woke, sunlight was spilling through the window. Jasmine was sitting by the bed, clumsily peeling an apple. I could not help but laugh.

And after this night, I'm gonna return to my shell. Returning to being the quiet and the ever so miserable Dawn.

Her mother ran after her as fast as she could but little Dawn was a really fast and disobedient kid. I stood near a tree and watched as Dawn tripped over a rock and came tumbling to the ground. She sat up on the ground and extended her hand which was now covered in blood. Her face displayed a look of horror, alarming her mom. Dawn suddenly started crying. "Mommy, it hurts!" Her mother ran over to her but I stopped her before she could arrive. "I’ll take care of this." She nodded and walked away, not paying any attention to Dawn anymore. It’s one of the many tricks angels can do.

Heather POV As I opened the front door of the packhouse, I heard many excited voices. Alpha Shane and Luna Mona are standing on the steps talking with Alpha Sean and Luna Rene as they watch the guys move supplies from the SUV that they arrived in to the military style truck we are taking to the lake. I spot Dawn standing near the back of the truck with her back to me as she inspects Meg’s neck. Quinn has not let that mark fade in any way. I started making my way over to the girls. I stepped up beside Dawn and threw my arm over her shoulder. “Hey sexy, come here often?” Dawn turns with a huge grin on her face, throws her arms around my neck, and tries to crush the life out of me with a hug.

"If we did, the queen would no longer imprison me but kill me instantly." “You may be right.” Dawn looked at me and noticed I was sweating. "Oh, don't you want to change your clothes? It looked like you’ve been exercising a lot." I turned my back to her. “Please help me remove the dress.” “Sure. No worries.” She returned the blade to its sheath and helped me undress. I slipped into a pair of shorts and a white tank. Dawn carefully put aside the dress on her bed. She did not notice I was in heat. She-wolves were sometimes unaware of the other's heat. Most of the time, male wolves were the first ones to notice.

I also remembered how he dangled Dawn in the air. I jumped to my feet when I remembered Dawn again. "My baby! Where's my baby?" Just as I was headed for the door, my eyes caught a glimpse of something. I looked in a corner, only to find Dawn lying on the bare floor. I ran to her and scooped her up quickly. There was a bump on her forehead. Last I remembered, the bump used to be red. Now, it was blue. Her face was also pale. Even her red lips had lost their color. There was crusty stuff on the corners of her eyes and cheeks.
