Chapter Thirteen I woke up to the sunshine steaming through the window. I let out a yawn and stretched my tired body out. My arms still ached from all the work from yesterday. I jumped out of the bed and quickly washed then got dressed. I could not afford upset the alpha anymore. I knew full well that if I wasn't up and making breakfast for the pack, then I would be beaten again. I prepared pancakes and helped the other omegas to set up the dining hall. It was almost seven am before we had finally got everything completed.

Wednesday, April 3rd It’s the bed slamming against the wall and the screeching of a woman that wakes me. It’s the fourth time that I’ve been awakened by such commotion. Laying on the floor seems to have put me in even worse shape than sitting did as it’s impossible for me to move without screaming. Juliet’s POV Walking towards the stage, I took a deep breath. The shining bulbs, the music playing, the chattering, and the glamour surrounded me. The eyes of lustful men traced my every move, their gazes running over my body. “Come on, Juliet!” Daphne's excited call snapped me out of my trance. I sighed, grabbing the pole as I lifted my weight, swirling around it, my body syncing with the music. The men approached the stage, tossing money at me. Seeing the pile of cash, I pushed harder, stripping more, following the beats. One hand guided me on the pole while the other traced down my exposed legs, moving rhythmically. I bit my tongue, twisting and turning, doing everything I could.

Elena only hoped they offered her a good deal. The rest of her day dragged on. Images of her dream danced through her head in between clients. Once the day was done, she sighed, counted out her till, and left. The ride home was fairly quick, and she listened to her audio book half-heartedly. She needed to write notes and talking points on the book for her fans, so she tried to focus on the fanciful story being spun in her ears.
