Her Deceitful Love

Her Deceitful Love

he spoke, lightly tapping on her tear stained cheeks. “You don't want to believe that your love has deceived you,” he grinned, turning more barbaric. His choice of words ached her soul. He was confessing such brutal things to her with no shame or guilt. He was not looking guilty to confess that he had broken her soul with his betrayal and it hurt her beyond her endurance. “Then ask yourself whether Armando Zelvasco has deceived Flora Alfanso by showing himself as Easton Marzel in front of her or……she paused and thrusted her face closer to his. She gazed into his light cerulean orbs with nothing but pain and pain.

I loved this book. Flora was such a strong character. Finally found a strong FL. I'm fed up of authors pursuing FL as doormat and spineless. I loved the way Flora stood up for herself. The chemistry between ML and FL was intense. Highly recommended.

I finished this book yesterday. I will be honest haha. I had a love hate relationship with the story while I was reading it. Other reviewers said the female lead is a strong one, but it was not the strong that I was expecting. I was expecting Flora to dump Easton because of how he treated her.

The Lycan's Secret Mate

The Lycan's Secret Mate

As the evening cast a soft glow over the opulent chambers, Raquel and I found ourselves engaged in a conversation that danced upon a delicate thread of trust and deception. Raquel, ever the master manipulator, wove her web of lies, carefully crafting a narrative that painted Liam as the villain of our twisted tale. I furrowed my brows, a flicker of doubt tugging at the edges of my mind. I had known Liam intimately, had experienced the tenderness and love he had shown me. Yet, Raquel's words clawed at my heart, injecting seeds of uncertainty into my thoughts.

Deceiving The Billionaire

Deceiving The Billionaire

she asked painfully. "Because I’ve learned not to trust you. My love didn’t stop you the last time. So now, I need something stronger to keep you from leaving again." "You’re unbelievable..." she said, voice trembling with unshed tears. "You loved me because you thought I was Julia. Don’t include that here. What we had was bound to end the way it did. I knew from the start you'd hate me once you found out the truth—" "Because you deceived me!" "You never let me explain!" she shouted. "You know nothing, Sake! And yet you hated me like I was the worst person alive! You judged me without even hearing me out!"

Death's Day

Death's Day

She grunted as she marched off, resigned to yet another dirty morning session tomorrow with her tormentor. “I will call your father to make sure you come. We have to be very careful. Evil spirits lurk in the dark waiting for a moment of weakness.” With that, he drove away. The next morning, the sun mocked Annabel when it poured through the window of her room. She had slept late and woken up late while she thought of ways to avoid going to priest. She thought of telling her mother, but she was the biggest fanatic. Her father had too much respect for the priest. So she decided to tell Luke, her younger brother, knowing fully well that he would probably not understand. Darrell , her elder broth

The Luna He Can't Forget

The Luna He Can't Forget

He leaned in, his voice lowered to a dangerous whisper. "Darlyn, my dear, love is often built upon the fragile foundation of deception. Sometimes, sacrifices must be made for the greater good. Do you not see? This is the path that will lead you to the love and happiness you so desperately seek. Trust me." The room grew heavy with the weight of their pact, the seeds of deceit sown deep within their souls. Darlyn, vulnerable and captivated by Donovan's manipulation, felt herself teetering on the precipice of a choice that could alter the course of their lives forever.

Chaos in Heels

Chaos in Heels

“I just heard the devastating news. Poor thing. First the professional humiliation, now a broken engagement.” I would rather eat glass than accept your fake sympathy, you backstabbing snake, Deja thought. Trevor snorted into his drink. “Dominique,” Deja replied smoothly. “How kind of you to concern yourself with my personal life, especially after being fired for fraud. Your priorities are... interesting.” Dominique’s smile tightened. “At least I’m not the one who drove away the most eligible bachelor in New York.” “No, you’re just the one who tried and failed,” Deja countered. “Multiple times, if I recall.”

The Vows of Deception

The Vows of Deception

With this in mind, Julia deleted her previous draft and rewrote her response. [Female.] Julia replied succinctly to Jared’s question. The message Julia sent triggered a sudden darkening of Jared’s expression. Moments ago, he had been considering that honesty from Julia might mitigate his anger, leading to a fair and open discussion. With Julia’s apparent deception, suspicions crept in, hinting at potential ulterior motives. Jared’s visage grew increasingly somber as his thoughts spiraled, his anger simmering and causing sweat to bead on his forehead. Observing this transformation, Anthony and the others exchanged knowing glances, signaling that the effects of the wine’s contents had begun to

Love Lies and Deceit

Love Lies and Deceit

* Penny * Three days passed. Three days of surveillance, of tracing calls, of coded messages and sleepless nights. Of strategy meetings held behind locked doors and visits to places I thought I'd buried. Three days of peeling back the truth until it bled. Until I could see every shadow cast in my name, every threat hiding behind Jason's twisted legacy. And now it was finally the wedding day.

After the divorce, she became a female billionaire

After the divorce, she became a female billionaire

"Do you think I will believe what you say now? Why did you choose this evening to tell the truth, is because I discovered your deception, you are afraid of my investigation, you couldn't hide it from me any longer so you decided to admit it, right?" Shane stood dumbfounded, even though what she just said wasn't completely true, it was seven or eight parts true. Bertha looked at his face like that, she knew she had guessed right, the disgust and ridicule that appeared in her eyes became even deeper. "I don't care if you are Shane or Derek. I hate people who deceive me the most, let alone those who use death to deceive my feelings. You are too much." Shane raised his head, he tried to hold bac

The Rejected Plump Mate, Now Wanted

The Rejected Plump Mate, Now Wanted

I was wrong to believe, even for a flicker, that he would turn over a new leaf, that he would become the version of the brother I had always wanted him to be. So all those acts, all those sweet words, were nothing but lies, deceit, and carefully orchestrated antics designed to get to my mate? To get in between us so he could achieve his twisted plans? How could I not have even had a clue? How could I have been so blind, so foolish, not to see beyond the surface and recognize his carefully crafted deceit? And the fact that he hadn’t been around for these past two days was something else that had begun to tug violently at my thoughts.
