Like it reached it's highest point and couldn't hold on. The stranger’s eyes widened. Vaeleth’s breath caught. Because suddenly she saw flashes of vision. A battlefield. A broken sky. She said with a wicked gleam that sent shivers down his spine and made his dick throb at the same time. Before Leonard could attempt anything, Diana's sharp claws were already at the back of his neck, without warning she dug into his flash and bones and ripped his entire spine out of his body. There was a loud series of gasps in the hall and even Howard was shocked as he watched her throw her brother's spine away like it meant nothing. “ You killed him,” Darryl said staring at her darkly, she gave him a puppy eye as if she hadn't just ripped out her brother's spine.

**** August 10th, 2023 Johnson siblings residence Roughly, a month passes. It was at 3 in the morning again when Zayn and Cassandra were alerted with the dark presence on their shoulders. Cassandra wakes up from her silent dream, her heart pounding in her chest. Somehow, she couldn't get used to the God of Death appearing in front of her eyes out of the blue. And at such a horrific timing as well. With a shaky breath, she allows herself to get up from the bed and knock on his door. Zayn was in his room as well.

I rolled and cracked my neck, about to say something smart to my ‘fireman’ when Ally snapped her head to me and held up a finger to her lips. I sit up very slowly and all my nerves are on edge. What is this place? A dark forest in the middle ages? Are we in someone’s subconscious? Nick moves in his predatory way checking all around us before joining Ally and I in our hunched over huddle behind a thick bush. Suddenly he freezes, and I see Ally turn her head to find what caught Nick’s attention. It’s a person. We are too far away for me to make out much else. It’s too dark. It’s a person and they are walking- and they’re gone. I blink again to check but no, my eyes are fine.

Rotting, skeletal hands burst from the mud, grabbing my ankles and pulling me down. "The Deadlands," Zade roared, his shadows flaring. "She opened a gate to the Deadlands!" Sasha let out a horrific, echoing laugh as she was swallowed by the green mist. The ground gave way entirely, and Zade and I plummeted into a dark, screaming abyss.

"A fake corpse has been set up. Later, someone will set the room on fire. Just leave without worry." I nodded. The moment I stepped out, a loud boom exploded behind me. Flames shot skyward, and the heat hit my face. I didn't look back. I followed the man to the black car waiting outside the estate. As the car pulled away from Costa Estate, I stole one last glance through the window at the inferno. The place that had trapped me for eight long years was now being consumed by flames. "Signorina, your wounds need attention." The bodyguard in the front handed me a first-aid kit.

Liam’s POV** The next morning, the storm that had raged inside the house the previous day was replaced by the warm scent of fresh chai and the faint hum of the valley waking up. Sunlight seeped through the windows, casting delicate, shifting shadows on the wooden floor. Outside, the sweet humming of birds mingled with the rustle of pine trees, creating a melody so gentle it felt like the mountains themselves were singing. For the first time since yesterday, it didn’t feel like the world was about to drift apart.
