Demanding a Dead Man's Kidney for Love

Demanding a Dead Man's Kidney for Love

She tried dialling again, but the same message kept repeating. "Out of service…" she repeated under her breath. She suddenly threw the phone onto the passenger seat as if it had burned her. "How could it be out of service? His monthly bill is automatically deducted from my card! Unless—" Unless the registered owner was dead and the number had been deactivated. The thought pierced Serena's mind like an ice spike. She shook her head violently, as if trying to shake off that terrifying thought. "No way… How could a guy like him die… He hasn't finished atoning for his sins…"

DANGEROUS GAMES

About everything. "What if this time is different?" I said quietly. "It won't be." "You don't know that." "Yeah. I do." He put his hand on my shoulder. "But you're going to do this anyway. So at least try not to get hurt." My phone buzzed. Text from an unknown number. “Outside.” I looked out the window. Black car looked expensive with Felton leaning against it looking like sex and money had a baby. "Fuck," I said. "Good luck," Kevin said.

Stay Dead This Time

Stay Dead This Time

They were 'buried together' for eternity. As for the real Stellan and Daphne, that was another matter entirely. … The dungeon beneath the Montclair estate was damp and bitterly cold. Stellan was chained to the wall with his limbs spread wide, unable to move an inch. The death-feigning potion had worn off, but his body was far from recovered. His skin was so pale it was nearly translucent. Daphne was locked in the cell next door, curled up in the corner, shaking uncontrollably.

"And every person who died protecting the truth... will have died for nothing." No one spoke. Outside, lightning split the night sky, illuminating the dark lake beyond the windows. Then— Damien's secure satellite phone, resting silently on the kitchen counter, vibrated. Once. Twice. Three times. He frowned. "No one has this number." Roman's expression darkened. "Answer it." Damien picked up the phone and pressed the speaker button. A distorted male voice filled the quiet room. «"Enjoy the lake while you can, Blackwood."»

Gunmetal Mama

Gunmetal Mama

Amy wanted to turn to the door, but she couldn’t move. “Believe it or not, all of those other people inside my video game were my victims. I even took one of my victims and made her the president of the United States. I also based the game farther into the future. I know it’s the year 2098, but you see inside my game, I made it the year 2130. When you think about it, my so-called victims are still alive but only in my video game. So that means I’ve killed nobody.” The gunman leaned back, releasing an explosive chuckle. He laughed so intensely that veins bulged out of his wide neck. The gunman didn’t laugh too hard because he almost dropped a switchblade concealed in his hands.

LENS

He killed two people in one day. “No, please” I cried and I tried to revive her but she was not moving. No pulse. Darling is dead. My friend is dead. My poor friend. I went inside the house and picked up my phone and said “Are you happy now?!” I asked him with anger but He didn’t answer. I just heard him laugh because his plan succeeded. “From now on your best friend is your cell phone, always hold your phone and do what I said… I am just starting, Lady… I am just starting” He said without remorse and he ended the call.

The Deadly One

The Deadly One

I squinted at the bright light as I slid over the green button. "Killian, what'd you need?" My voice filled with sleep. "Good morning to you too, Reyna." Piper chimed through my phone. Morning people were the worst kind of people. I could never understand how someone could be so chipper after waking up in all my years in the academy and out in the field. It just never happened for me. I pulled the phone away and looked at the time, groaning as I put my phone back to my ear. "It's five am. Do we have another body?"

This series keeps getting better and better. Each book has me completely hooked & having to finish them within a day lol absolutely amazing job author. The way you switch from ‘realm to realm’ in each story so effortlessly & how well it flows/comes together, fantastic job. Excited for the rest! (:

AHHH, that was an experience. Balor is seriously one hell of a character, the perfect balance madman and asshole. I love how so much has been connected through all the books so far! So many hidden eggs for the future books too! I’m obsessed! If you haven’t read this series yet, you’re missing out!

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Recently, I had been fantasizing about a mobile phone game, which was commonly known as chicken dinner. I was not well a few days ago. Every teammate said bad words to me. Whenever I had time, I would use my phone to practice. Although I could not be considered a master now, I was not a rookie anymore. I was much better than ordinary people. When I was busy teaming up, a message popped up on my phone and said, “Open the door.” When I turned on the fire key, I accidentally sent it to Whats app. “Ah, I am going to die.” I was anxious to cut back to the game and saw that the message was sent by Ricky. ‘Did he ask me to open the door?’

it would be more exciting if POV only concerns ML n FL. it's a mess for me when all characters got their own POV. it's kinda mixed up n after a few paragraphs, another POV from other character n it goes on n on.

One good thing about this story is that the FL not only has a doting boyfriend but also a doting mother-in-law. Loved reading this very positive love story of a badass FL. one complaint would be this book needs a lot of corrections. It is a bit messy.

DANGEROUS GAMES

DANGEROUS GAMES

Before he could drift off, the ringing started again. Exhausted but not wanting the call to eventually wake Kali, he slid his hand from beneath hers and carefully got off the bed. Kali stirred, muttering something unintelligible before pulling the blanket over her shoulder. “Fredrick.” Samuel dragged, stepping into the bathroom. “It’s five thirty in the morning. On a Saturday.” “I know. I was asleep when the call came. Our servers are all down, and there is a problem with our systems.” “How did that happen?”

HIS DANGEROUS GAME

HIS DANGEROUS GAME

DANTE’S POV The city looked different at night…sharp, cold, and full of lies. Dante’s fingers tightened around the steering wheel as the black Maserati cut through the silent streets. His phone buzzed once on the dashboard, the same message glowing on the cracked screen. Lock your doors. Don’t trust anyone tonight. He’d sent it to her barely fifteen minutes ago. Now she wasn’t picking up.
