The Worthless Ex-Wife's Revenge

The Worthless Ex-Wife's Revenge

My phone buzzed. David. "The number is registered to a prepaid phone. Purchased three weeks ago with cash. No name attached. But here's the interesting part: the SIM card is linked to an old account. Belongs to a Gerald Mitchell. He died last year. The line was supposed to be disconnected but it's still active." I read the message three times. A dead man's phone. Someone was using a dead man's phone to send threatening messages. This wasn't random. This was deliberate. Calculated.

even was. It told me: [Conditions unmet. Mission will initiate upon sufficient capability and target reacquisition. Program will remain active until completion.] Because it had no emotions, it gave me books—endless books—to study. I crouched in front of her, the hatred in my eyes no longer hidden. "I wanted you dead. How could I ever fall in love with you?" With that, I got on my bike and sped off. The private investigator, Callum Vance, whom I hired also sent me good news.

Deadly Game With My Adopted Uncle

Deadly Game With My Adopted Uncle

Julian is shaking so hard the lilies he brought have fallen to the floor, getting crushed under Mateo’s boots. "He’s a student!" I plead, looking at Lorenzo. "Lorenzo, tell them! You know he’s just a regular guy!" Lorenzo tilts his head. "Well..." "Lorenzo!" Mateo forces him into unlocking his phone, then scrolls for three seconds before his face goes dark. "Boss," Mateo says, handing the phone to my father. "He’s got photos of the warehouse on 4th Street. Sent them to an encrypted number ten minutes ago."

Dead But Not Done

He smiled—and kicked my knee hard. I let out a muffled groan and dropped to my knees. He leaned down and whispered, in a voice only we could hear, "Why didn't you just die in the correctional facility? You insisted on coming back to compete with me? Hm? Bobby, what makes you think you're qualified to fight me?" The second file was an audio recording.

The Alpha of Wolf Creek

The Alpha of Wolf Creek

’ I wished I were so sure. A large, dark-skinned man pressed his firearm underneath my chin. “Where is she?” he demanded, dark brown eyes held a promise of certain death. My cellphone lay just out of reach on the coffee table. It might as well be on another planet. I would never reach it in time. “Look, there must be some mistake.” Another muscleman saw my eyes shift towards my phone, and he took it from the table. “Who are you?” The dark one shoved me into a chair. “What are you doing here?”

The Mafia's Deadly Love Game

The Mafia's Deadly Love Game

She felt his fingers move along her waist again. “Oh… right, ma’am,” the man on the phone finally replied. “Good,” Scarlet said curtly and ended the call. Leonardo wasted no time. He lifted her up once more, plunging deeply into the core between her legs as if chasing something buried deep within. He moved faster now, his pace intense and relentless. Scarlet’s moans filled the room as she clawed gently at his back, her head falling backward in ecstasy.

The Mafia King’s Queen

I heard only Rocco curse next to me. My fingers curled tight around the gun, my breathing even and controlled. I edged closer, my stomach twisting as I saw the face of the man. One of my dad's men. One of the ones I'd trusted. I took a deep breath, fuming. War was what this was. I couldn't get my voice out before a phone rang. Not mine. The dead man's. A burner phone on his thigh, screen flashing with an incoming call. The number was unlisted.

A GAME OF LIES

And yet… she couldn’t forget the way his lips had felt, the way her body had betrayed he and--Damn it! Her phone buzzed again. ‘Keep going, honey. Remember all he’s done to you and never forget that your revenge is a must.’ Amira swallowed hard, her pulse hammering in her ears. Three months left. That was all the time she had to play this dangerous game. She turned the phone face down in her lap, forcing her expression into something neutral. The men were still talking about alliances, threats, and all things money-related but their voices blurred in her ears. All she could hear was the echo of Alessandro’s words.

I was seriously going to stop reading this book as it is a bit expensive and the story was deviating from the central plot. But today I unlocked a chapter again and I am totally happy after reading it. And I found the author cut out some irrelevant Oakphet portions and added new content. Good work👍
