We are just actively, trying to completely reclaim our own independence. Exactly one entire hour later, a completely loud, and entirely obnoxious knock echoed through my apartment. I opened the door to find Missy standing there. She was, already dressed in a completely tight, glittering silver mini-dress that caught the hall light every single time she breathed. She held a completely massive, and entirely half-empty margarita glass in her hand. She had fully, delivered on her promise to arrive with the necessary alcohol. We actively spent the next chaotic forty-five minutes doing our makeup.

Mari had a little chitchat with her friends at the Night club. She's wearing a backless black silky dress that hugs her curves. She looks dashing tonight and the electrifying lights of the club were matched into her skin. "Hey, Miss," someone called her. She glances at the stranger. "Yes? Do we have a problem?" She asks, confusedly. The guy took a piece of paper inside his pocket and handed it to her. "Read it," the guy uttered.

Her fingers were a little shaky, but her voice was soft and brave. “It’s okay,” she whispered. “I… I can answer.” Everyone looked at her. “My name is Missy,” she said, twisting her fingers under the table. “I’m nineteen. I love drawing and singing a lot. I don’t… have a boyfriend.” She paused, as if expecting someone to laugh or scoff or roll their eyes. No one did. Even Enzo stayed quiet now. “I live with my mom,” she finished. “Yeah. That’s… that’s it, I guess.”

“Your server will be with you shortly.” “Thank you.” I nod slightly as I peek over at the menu. To my surprise it’s the same restaurant that Deven treated me to when I first found him. I smile as I rub Missy’s back. “What would you like to drink?” I ask as she finally pushes herself upright. “I usually go for tea or cola.” She’s finally coming out of her fright. “Are you okay with me moving to the other side? I think facing each other makes for nicer conversation.”
