My eyes fall shut, trying to keep the tears at bay. “I accepted the path of darkness for myself. I’m a vampire,” Lucas continues. “That’s what we are. That’s what’s inside of us. Darkness.” He slips one hand under me, and my heart swells in my chest. “I believed I could never be anything but dark. I let it consume me, and I told myself that’s how things were meant to be. For over a thousand years I clung onto that false truth…and then I met you.” A tear rolls down my cheek.

Grayson said as he walked past to find Coal. Maverick listened to Grayson's footsteps and waited until they were far enough away, then allowed Shade to come forward with him. “All right, Shade, do your thing. He has to be here,” Maverick said as the scent of smoke began to fill the room. There were two halls off the living room, one on each side of the room. Maverick turns left, choosing the hall leading West. In each room they enter, Shade looks for a spell hiding a room as he searches for another wolf's mind.

I sobbed. His eyes darkened even more, glaring at me. “I don’t believe you.” He lowered his mouth to my neck, immediately biting into it. I screamed out in pain as he began to drink directly from my throat. I started thrashing again, pushing weakly against his shoulders as I begged him to stop. The longer he fed from me, the weaker I got until my hands dropped away from his body and my vision began to swim. This is it. This is how I die. I wonder who will have to clean up my remains.

Tonight. I stare at the screen, irritation and anticipation warring inside me. Part of me wants to ignore him just to prove I can. But the bigger part — the one that craves his darkness — already knows I’m going. Two hours later, I slip out of the dormitory and take the route he instructed. A black car waits for me two blocks away. The driver says nothing as he takes me across the city to Silvano’s penthouse. The moment the elevator doors open into his luxurious space, Silvano is on me.

Then she felt her legs and arms being cuffed to the legs of the chair. "I don't think this is a good idea." She complained, panicking but Cassy asked her to relax. Next, she heard giggles and then the music changed to some dark rock music. It was something her father would call Worldly Music. "Cassy, I don't feel comfortable." Inara said nervously. "Relax." Cassy said and laughed. A strange lethargic feeling was overcoming her as she felt the blindfold being taken off. Opening her eyes, she saw a male stripper coming towards her.

So here I was, trying to enjoy the conversation while I still finding it hard to wrap the last chat with Kai around my head. “Earth to River.” Krys nudged me. The boos from the audience caught our attention. I started to have a headache since we sat at the bar an hour ago. “Yeah.” “You don’t wanna reply to Krew, then just suck it up.” Journey glared at me. “Leave your heartbreak at home. We are supposed to have fun tonight. Get drunk, honey.” One of the audience went upstage. The band started playing a song by Kurt Cobain, and the guy started singing. I listened for a while, trying to lose in the song, but it did not work.

With Each cord fate wove betwixt the shades of destiny, prophecy's chime clings to the constraints of man, beckoning the freedom of one Sealed In Darkness. The sky roared. The clashes of blades resonated with the cracking thunder as flashes of lightening made visible the blood painting an alluring canvas on the streets with its scarlet-red splendor. The weaves of corpses spawned up within the crannies, daring enough to walk a runway in the open: both young and old, neither was spared from the delight of the day. Even the pungent stench of decay had crowned the day with a lingering nauseating grace, travelling the skies like an entourage of heavy soot.

"W-We'll be back!" I sobbed, clutching my chest. They pushed me as people disappeared into a smaller room and I screamed when my hip hit the hard pallet. "W-Where are you taking my cousin?!" I exclaimed. "Don't worry, Miss. After your cousin, you'll be the one to enjoy!" It laughed and I couldn’t move when they closed the door and darkness filled the place. My lips quivered in fear and my body started shaking with the mere sight of darkness, covering my being, altering my sanity and blocking all my senses, with only fear left inside me.

After that, Roy would send a team of cleaners to clean the place and erase the evidence. After the killing mission, the young man’s eyes try to find his motorcycle that he parks. He finds them at the hidden alleyway, a perfect place to park his motorcycle. At least he secures his motorcycle so that it won’t get robbed. His crimson suit bathed in blood, but at least the color made the blood on him less visible. However, his cell phone then rings, this melodramatic ringtone can only mean one thing. Aveline calls him, he decides to answer the call in the alleyway.
