I closed my eyes, letting the last shred of my attachment to family die. "Think whatever you want. But Mom, even if you kill yourself right now, I'm still telling everyone the truth about that matcha."

His voice was cracking. “Something terrible has happened! The whole Zimmer family is all dead!” The boisterous yard fell into a dead silence. Every eye locked onto him. The man gasped for breath as he choked out the rest of his words. “They’re saying it was the boy, Jacob. He put rat poison in the dinner! It was meant for Summer, but… He ended up killing everyone in his family. None of them made it!” I lowered my gaze and scooped another bite of food in silence.

I watch as he stretches the paper for me to see, and I can see the words that were written on the paper. "Discover your identity, find out who you truly are, and don't let my sacrifice end up in vain." I read it aloud, and my dad shook his head in approval. Right in front of my eyes, I watched as his body started dissolving, and the room started crumbling. "There won't be another chance, Rey Reed of Smith." My dad yelled at me, and he vanished from sight.

Mom told me that one of my brothers will give me house tour and told me that this is not our permanent house, apparently dad has 'business' worldwide so we have to go on moving , so mumma told me that we have mansions in almost each country. I wonder what my dad's business is? Only if she knew that dad's business will get her the best thing in her life. She grabbed at my clothes. "Are you determined to destroy this family? Your father cares so much about his reputation. If you expose this, how will he have any dignity left?" I looked at her calmly. "So the only way this family survives is if I keep sacrificing myself? "So many things have happened, and he hasn't come home once. You fainted and went to the hospital. He didn't even answer his phone. "Mom, stop lying to yourself. You keep thinking about this family… But your husband gambles and cheats, while your son and daughter-in-law are leeches. I was the only one standing beside you, and you kept turning against me."

Her face was deathly pale as the words she had said to me that night echoed over and over in her mind. She remembered that she had said, "Stop pretending you're dying and keep dragging everyone down. Just looking at you annoys me." Now, her voice took on a hint of a sob, and she trembled profusely. "I-I never wanted him to die… I just… I just thought he was annoying. I thought he was throwing a tantrum…" Watching my family's reaction, the police officer frowned deeply as contempt briefly flickered in his eyes.
