"Lucian?" Chloe stepped into the pew, her fragile frame wrapped in a dark velvet coat. She looked pale, her hazel eyes glistening with fresh tears, her delicate face twisted into a look of profound, gentle sorrow. She had stayed in the background throughout the entire service, kept away from the primary cameras by my direct orders to security. She slid onto the polished bench beside me, the faint scent of floral perfume invading the space between us. "The cars are waiting outside," Chloe whispered softly, her trembling voice dripping with sweet, tragic sympathy. "Everyone is gone, Lucian. You've been sitting here for three hours... Please, you need to come home."

"We are sorry," "I forgot to give you the latest update, Ariadne is dead. He was killed by Dean, a trained and skilled warrior. Storm came back before Ariadne was buried and I will have to make sure he is buried alongside his father." the dark cloaked figure promised. Even though he doesn't know how he could do that yet, he chuckled when he heard the pleading of Phoenix. He likes putting fear into the heart of the woman who people think has died years ago. "I will see you soon Phoenix," he said and disappear into thin air. Phoenix sobs and cough was heard within the dark cell.

He glared at me, and flames of anger shot through him. I coughed aggressively as my lungs cherished each breath I took. I warped my hands around my neck, rubbing it to ease the pain. Lucifer’s jaw clenched as he removed his hand, my eyes widened in shock when I noticed the blood oozing down his face. The cut I gave him started from his left eye and stretched until his cheek. It will leave a mark. I thought to myself. Lucifer reached into his suit jacket and pulled out a handkerchief. He wiped away the blood from his face and hands as his eyes remained on me.

Lucifer’s eyes stay fixed on hers as her hands push his trousers down. Her hands move and wrap around his neck, pulling his face to her as her tongue glides across his lips, her hands pulling him closer as they kiss. Lucifer moves, kicking his clothes off the rest of the way until he is naked above her. Anais moves, pushing him back up to kneel before she moves, kneeling ahead of him. His eyes consume her body as she kneels naked above him, and he knows this will be the last time—her mouth pressing small kisses along his chest.

Rhos spoke again, his clicking of hooves across the floor echoed into the silent room. “Kronos,” Uriel whispered. Her eyes showed bright, looking into my eyes. Stepping forward, she dragged her mate with her as she held out her hand for me to take. Looking at her and her hand, she smiled, pushing it more for me to take. Before I took her hand, a dark red mark peeked out from her low cut dress. Seeing that Lucifer also had a mark on his bare chest, I see the picture of hers, a kneeling lamb staring right at me.

She looked behind Lucifer and saw Reed standing behind him with an evil smirk on his face as he twisted the knife even more and it came out from Lucifer's chest. “ Stop it.... you're killing him ” Skyler said as tears dropped from her eyes. “ I'm going to kill you both ” Reed said. “ My love stop crying ” Lucifer said. “ But you're hurt ” Skyler sniffed as her tears blinded her sight. Lucifer knew that she wouldn't stop crying so he touched her forehead and she passed out in his arms. He then broke the chains off her hands and legs even with the knife still stucked in his back.

Chapter One Chloe’s POV "Arrgggg...fuck." He pounded faster and harder, my hands were clenched to the sheets as he kept on penetrating. "I think I'm going to come." I uttered, rolling my eye ball in due to the pleasure I was getting. Having sex with a stranger wasn't something that was on my wish list. Was I going to regret having sex with him? Hell yeah! I was supposed to carry out the mission which my father had sent me to to, but I couldn't resist the mate bond.

The day of our Mating Ceremony finally arrived. As the Elder stood before the pack, his voice booming as he announced the exchange of our soul-binding rings, Julian—the man standing across from me—suddenly spoke. "Actually," he said, his voice cutting through the sacred silence. "I’ve been fucking Chloe." I froze. He didn't even blink as he watched the color drain from my face.

Her cheeks coiled into a smile and I draped my hands on her waist, "may we dance together?" She nodded in reply. ..... Chloe's POV Feeling bored, I have been staring at the clock observing as the hand keeps moving. I have been laying on the bed expecting Xavier walking through the doors stepping into the room. It just hit 10:56. Isn't that really late in the hour of the night? Where is he? I pondered. I shut my eyes and I tried to sleep but I couldn't wondering when Xavier's gonna get home. Xavier's POV

He paused the video and zoomed in on each of his members wrists. There lay a tattoo of a snake eating its own tail. He took the video back and zoomed it on the other group's wrist. Iris eyes widened, her expression immediately turned grim. Her mind slowly getting a hang of what was happening. "You see, Iris I didn't kill your family." He flipped the slick laptop close and tossed it on the bed. "All of them are going to pay." She gritted her teeth her eyes staring ahead of her with determination. Cassian gave out a dark bone chilling chuckle. Iris recoiled.
