War of Threes

War of Threes

Gael, Hakeem, and I had passed out after four hours of non-stop mating. I was sandwiched between my two men, my head resting on Hakeem’s chest and Gael’s leg and arm thrown over both of us as he snuggled into my back. I felt as if I had just fallen asleep when flashes and fragments of dreams began to play through my mind. They were disjointed, speeding through my mind almost too fast to catch. There is Charlie holding two pups in her arms, the pack being attacked on the western front, Arya fallen to her knees sobbing in the middle of a battlefield, funeral pyres, me looking down at my pregnant stomach with Gael and Hakeem smiling down at me, whoops of victory and wails of defeat. Indigo. I hadn't waited to hear any other thing. I got into the car, waiting until we were driving before I asked the most gnawing question. “The death race…what is it?” I asked, fingers gripping the headrest in front of me while the manㅡ Slade's coachㅡ drove the car like he was a possessed person. That would explain where Slade had gotten his reckless driving skills from. He didn’t answer right away. His knuckles were white on the steering wheel, his jaw flexing with frustration. “Exactly what it sounds like,” he finally muttered. “An underground race that doesn’t end when you crash. It ends when you die.”

Three Days to Ash

It had been corroding my bloodline, bit by bit. Everyone, including myself, thought I was born unfit to be Kindred. It turned out I had been slowly poisoned for centuries by the "family" I trusted most. Meanwhile, in the CEO's office on the top floor of the Nightfall Group building. Damien sat behind a large ebony desk, but he couldn't read a single word. The agony transmitted through their blood vow was driving him to madness. The Race Against Death's Door

The Race Against Death's Door

Svetlana didn’t know what happened but when she turned around, she immediately steps back, her bloody hands covering her mouth as she saw the two women’s bodies, with their necks’ slits and blood flows out of it, covering the ground in its pool. “Ahrio!” Yekaterina called, she couldn’t believe her eyes. He killed three people in less than a minute, with no hesitation and no mercy. Yekaterina and Svetlana flinched when all the other member’s metal collar exploded, killing them right that second. Minerva who was watching everything unfold right from the start, claps her hands and cheered. “Now, that’s more than I expected. He’s more fun than all of you combined.” She glances at Ahrio with admi

Third Eye P.I.

Third Eye P.I.

Confused, her eyes roved through the darkness and caught the illumination of dashboard lights that seemed brighter than normal. She wasn't dead. She was still in the Jeep. Silently thanking God, she glanced at Randy in the driver's seat. He met her gaze with a look that clearly questioned her well-being. She nodded to ease his worries, so he turned his attention back to the road. Stunned by the short and poignant dream that clearly depicted her forthcoming murder, she stared numbly through the window as they drove through the streets of Regina. If she continued with the current trajectory, Bolton Thomas would be dead long before he had a chance to kill her. At least, that was the goal. It wa

Last Three Shots

Last Three Shots

He hadn't expected the usually well-behaved Hazel would have such an unreasonable side to her. Both Hazel's and Faye's eyes reddened as they gave Connor pitiful, tearful looks. He frowned silently, and for the first time, he seemed overwhelmed by the mother-daughter duo. He instinctively turned to Daisy and me, but Oliver blocked his view. Oliver showed Connor a phone with an account on the screen and said, "This is Daisy's account. She finished and uploaded her artwork three days ago, identical to her winning piece. You're accusing Daisy of copying? Well, I say Hazel copied Daisy!"

Three Days to Goodbye

Three Days to Goodbye

Not long after, news came that David had slit his wrists and taken his own life. Meanwhile, in a rehabilitation center overseas, I was lying quietly in a hospital bed, receiving treatment. In the end, because of my parents' insistence and my unwillingness to leave Joseph, I had chosen to fight for my life. Just The 3 Of Us

Just The 3 Of Us

The problem wasn’t over yet, but at least he’s gone for now. I turned slowly to face him again. His gray eyes, sharp and cold, were fixed on me. For a split second, I felt exposed, like he could see straight through me and through my thoughts. “I… thank you,” I said quickly, bowing and forcing a smile. “And… I’m sorry for the trouble.” “That’s the third time,” he murmured, almost under his breath, before turning and walking away. I stood frozen in time for a moment, watching his facade fade down the hallway. The words echoed in my mind. The third time? My pulse skipped. Does he actually remember me? My chest tightened as I realized what just happened. Or am I just possibly overthinking thing

Death Contract

That’s why it became easy for me to take their body and soul. With the three I went to hell again. Lucifer greeted me there with a wide smile. "As discussed," I said simultaneously pushing the three unconscious. Here we are at an altar inside his castle, it looks like here he is performing the ritual to use the bodies of the three offerings to get out of hell.

she hissed, her voice insistent, and I waited until he glanced back at me to try to link Thane again. 'Derrick's alive, Valerie's answering to him,' I sent, then watched with satisfaction as both their faces contorted in horrified shock after seeing my eyes go blank, clearly falling for the implication that the triplets had somehow prevented their concoction from working. In truth, I had no idea how or why it hadn't worked as much as they'd expected, but it was currently playing into my favour, and I intended to milk it for all it was worth.

I haven't finished the book as of yet but I love that each chapter makes you want to read the next. The main character isn't annoying and whining through out the book. I look forward to reading more from the author.

I’m loving this storyline so far. I just wish there were more storyline updates between the sex scenes or along with the sex scenes instead of chapters of just pure sex scenes, especially when they are one right after another. I feel like it’s cheating us by paying for repetition.
