Clea was too shocked to say anything. "You're a descendant of the Goddess Fló. A sworn protector of this town and the towners. A witch that became a demon. Ohalo is awakening the formerly asleep demon energy in you." "Demon?!" Kali exclaimed again. Clea was shaken. She didn't even know what being a Demon meant. There was no way for her to believe it since she didn't even understand. No wonder. It was close to what Kali theorized;

But he had to move slow. The first thing he did was introduce the evil man to what evil truly looked like. One of those mornings when he chose to appear before the man’s bedside, he decided not to leave so suddenly. Nay. He stayed and looked Rell in his eyes, starting a stare down with his demon form fully on display. Young didn’t disappear until the man had sprung into action, finally reaching for his gun, with a ‘what the hell’. When he turned back to the edge of his bed, Blood, the demon version of Young, had disappeared.

he says, picking up a knife and twirling it between his fingers, "one particularly dumbass member decided to summon a demon. You know, for science or whatever the hell they thought they were doing. And, surprise surprise, it went horribly wrong." I stare at him. "A demon?" "Yup." He flips the knife once, catching it smoothly. "And it didn’t want to go back. Demons don’t like being summoned. It’s like getting yanked out of bed and forced into a terrible party where everyone’s trying to get something from you. So naturally, it started killing people." My stomach tightens. "Achilles—"

“They’re happy. They’re not suffering, and they don’t have any troubles. “They only belong to me. “This is art! It’s perfect art!” He was completely insane. It was completely inhumane. He had turned these young women into his personal toys. I looked at those young women. They were only in their early twenties. Their lives were just starting. However, they were trapped in this dungeon. I recalled what Charlie had said. “The pretty lady fell asleep after the jab, just like sleeping beauty.” It turned out that this was what he was referring to. I felt very sad. I was sad for these young women and this despicable world.

“Um, they’re like, evil spirits? From some kind of hell dimension?” Vincent sighed through his nose. “A crude oversimplification. Demon is our word for the otherworldly beings that, before a few generations ago, could only partially access our world. Hauntings, poltergeist events, and other semi-material supernatural phenomena in the past were often the result of their attempts to affect conditions here. Other common examples of this would include…” He gestured for the class to call out answers. “Ghost lights,” called one student, and another said, “Crop circles, right?” Others threw out things like Bermuda Triangle disappearances, skyquakes, even spontaneous combustion – a bunch of stuff th

He turns and sees my focus on his hand, before pausing a moment to also look down at what is now normal skin, and makes a soft noise under his breath that almost seems like a laugh. “Figured out why the smarter wolves are afraid of me, Princess?” he mocks me before pushing his way inside. Unrattled by my seeing his true self, and in fact, it feels a lot like he grows cockier with every step as my returning trepidation grows. It sends a chill through me as I follow him into the cozy space, not really taking it in, my thoughts swimming with newfound fear as I try to recall Leyanne's teachings. Demonics. The fractured half of the Angelics. Once a whole whose conflicting parts were torn apart be

Damien grinned, Chris’ miserable state proves him how worth his five years of wait. Chris watched how the demon’s appearance changed before his eyes. The black fog that always surrounds the demon is as if being absorbed back to its body. Chris is too pre-occupied to be even amazed but he must admit to himself that he is curious with what is happening. It continued until the black fog finally reveals a man with strong features. Chris first noticed the demon’s eyes which are very dark, much like the fog that previously surrounds him.

Tapping a button on my phone, light brightens the room, Liam’s figure filling the doorway, blocking the space beyond. Perching on the edge of the desk, I wait for him to enter. To speak. To knock me back into the unforgiving surface and drive a dagger into my heart. Or even his dick into my core. That would be preferable to the knife. Despite what many think of demons, we aren’t actually dead, not really. Our souls belong to the devil, but our bodies are held in a suspension of life, something like a purgatory. It means, like any other creature, we can die, we can procreate, we need nourishment. We’re not as different as the other creatures of the world may think. But lore is strong when you

The demon was the source of the sickness that had been spreading through the forest, and it was clear that it posed a grave threat to the safety and well-being of all the forest's inhabitants. As they watched, the demon stirred and lifted its head. Its eyes locked onto the trio, and it let out a deafening roar that shook the very ground beneath their feet.

The memories comfort and then swiftly spin around and wound me. All I can do for now, stuck in Greenway in this gilded cage, is keep out of the firing line.
