He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

The wind above the dungeon didn’t help my wounds at all, I covered myself with an item of clothing used by the one I strangled. As she wore it, Aqua noticed the stone's clarity, reflecting her calm and balanced state of mind. Whenever she felt at peace, the pendant remained clear and pristine. However, when her emotions stirred, the pendant would change. A slight hue of blue appeared when she felt sadness, while a warm golden tone emerged during moments of happiness. If anger or fear took hold of her, the gemstone would darken, turning a deep, unsettling black.

I hated to think about it, so saying something so terrible, so drastic. "What?" His face was stricken with shock. For a moment, I let out a slow sigh before taking a deep breath. "A demon cursed me." My hands slowly reached for my collar and pulled it aside to reveal the curse mark, but I couldn't get a good look at it. When I finally caught a glimpse of Hayden, I could see sympathy in his eyes, but there was still confusion. "Cole is trying to get the stone of Cintamani for me. It could save me."

The weight of his words pressed against me, cold and suffocating. I blinked hard, willing my heart to steady. I couldn’t do this. I couldn’t let him pull me into his game. “That’s it, Damon,” I said finally, my voice sharp but quiet. “I need the fragment. Sell it to me at its original price, Damon. One hundred million.
