The soft swish of a blade leaving its sheath filled the silent space, and suddenly Jacob had a six inch, thick blade in his palm. Alec said, touching his forehead like he caught a headache. I stood up not liking to see Alec this way. It makes me sad. I really hated this demon alpha for doing this to the man I so much care about. "I don't think you need to get so flustered because of this Alpha's letter. Just figure out what to do" I said softly, particularly talking to Alec. "You don't know who we are talking about Jessy. This man is a demon that doesn't care about anyone's life. It wasn't because he didn't trust me, so I supported him, doing whatever we needed to do to be alerted by demons anywhere in the world. A few time we came across demons living naturally amongst us with the tracing spell I did, but they were never a threat, or a blood thirsty monster like the ones Bahm fought every day. He even had his two betas, Jacorius and Liana, stationed up in the temple, incase an unknown attack happened. Liana was very much submissive towards me, acting more like a slave or servant than a beta of the pack. It was almost like she intentionally wanted to cater to me.
