Sitting in Annastasia and Mallory’s living room--again--Cadon tried to stay quiet and let Jamie and Ashley answer all of the questions the girl had. Plenty of questions popped out of her mouth as they were talking about the pluses and minuses of becoming a Hunter. Mallory’s biggest concerns seemed to be actually having to fight Vampires and the pain that she would have to undergo in order to turn herself into a Hunter.

Dominic doesn’t think as he runs toward where Seraphina is fighting a Vampire and Werewolf tag team. Seraphina knocks out the Vampire and turns just in time to scream as she sees a Demon step in front of Dominic’s path and slide something into his chest. She feels the stabbing pain as if it were her own, as the Demon had just missed Dominic’s heart. She screams again as she watches along with feels as the Demon removes what she can only make to be a dagger from Dominic’s chest, and as Dominic tries to move forward the Demon moves quickly stepping behind him and slicing the dagger across his throat before letting him go and allowing him to slide in what seemed to be slow motion to the ground.

He was one of the higher station hunters. “Now try not to struggle and let’s just go.” His voice was deep and low like if he was bored and I was an announce. I stay silent, shaking with rage.

Everyone else just stood, watching. Then Jayden wailed as power exploded from her fingertips, hitting Karl in the chest and sending him through the air to tumble over the back of the sofa. When she opened her eyes, both now appeared a deep blood-red and feral looking. She sent another blast toward Sheeran, who tried to block it with his sword, but instead, the blast sent him flying back into the wall to crumble to the floor. The demon roared as he scampered to his feet, his lips curled upward in a snarl. "I am free!" He reached out a hand, taking Tryna by the throat and tossing her carelessly across the room like a mere toy. Famallumi caught the small faerie before she struck the wall.
