The White Rose Of Damnation
Kael kicked one away, defending with his sword crossed, but a strike landed—a blade bit into his shoulder, and blood sprayed.
Rea didn't stop. The one descending from the ceiling was close now, black claws slashing toward her. She lunged, refusing to be a target. She slammed the stone into its neck, but it didn't back down.
That's when the scream tore from her—not a spell, not power: rage. Pain. A primal, killing will to live.
The demon hesitated. Just for a second. But it was enough. Rea grabbed a half-buried metal shard from the ground—remnants of an old trap—and drove it deep into the demon's throat. It fell back, dissolving into shadow.
