Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast
The atmosphere in the Silver-Moon courtyard was thick enough to choke the life out of a normal human. On one side stood the ten thousand—the broken, the hungry, and the discarded. On the other stood the Northern Elite, a wall of fur and silver armor, their eyes glowing with a predatory hunger that had been nurtured for generations. And in the center of it all, the air warped and shimmered where my Blood-Gold fire met Damon’s dark, heavy aura. It felt like standing at the epicenter of a storm that was waiting for a single word to explode.
