Himari’s POV. - Zorien twirls me free and when I’m expecting to go back into his arms and stretch my arms out in his direction, someone comes sweeping me neatly away and I gasp to see the red-haired Demon. He grins cheekily at me and I pout, accepting to continue the dance with him in hopes to appease Zorien later.

When Lucien left, I called after him, "Can I come early?" This time he laughed softly, finally believing I was truly interested in him. "Of course. Come find me." “There is something between you two that you are not telling me.” Lysan was quiet, he didn't say anything, he just kept staring at the floor. Dyleon ran a hand through his hair, pulling it slightly. “When did you become like this Lys? When did you start hiding things from me? You feel like a completely different person, acting off since morning.” He moved closer to Lysan, “Talk to me Lysan, Please.” Dylan said, his voice cracking a little. Lysan blinked hard, pressing his lips together, keeping his emotions in check. There was no way he could explain to Dyleon that their beloved Demon prince was a monster. Sharp jaw line, pitch black hair that barely passes his ears, sharp features and nice lips. What do I care about his lips? My mind instantly goes to earlier when I clumsily got on top of him. He bended forward, forehead forcefully pressed on the cemented flooring as he continued to scream in pain, a puddle of blood started to form below him. Suddenly the pain disappeared. His vision had returned to normal along with his face and clothes having no sign of blood. Yet, the puddle stayed right in front of him. He stared at it until a reflection started to appear, it was not his for it had a more feminine face. Slowly hands started to manifest from the puddle, it held both his cheeks and pulled him closer that his lips almost touched the bloody floor. “Had you forgotten your father’s sins?” Chapter End.

Darkness descended, the sky turning a sickly shade of crimson, and Mia's smile twisted into a look of terror. The demon's presence surged within him, stirring the dormant power that lay within his veins. Its malevolent whispers filled his mind, taunting him, tempting him to embrace the darkness.
