Demons And Dungeons Novels & Stories

She looks around, completely unfazed by the thirty or so huge, jacked bikers surrounding her. “I’m looking for a… Damon Montague,” she says, checking a small slip of paper. My eyebrows shoot up, and I glance at Devil, who’s now glaring at the girl. “The fuck you want with him?” he growls. His voice is threatening, but the girl couldn’t care less. “None of your fucking business,” she says, matching his tone. Damn. Girl’s got balls. Devil has a nasty rep... almost as bad as mine. His name wasn’t given to him for fun. The methods he uses for killing or ‘talking’ aren't jokes.

It was a stark contrast to the desolate ruins she had left behind. Amongst the city's architectural wonders were five distinct castles, each more magnificent than the last. These castles, with their towering spires and intricate carvings, stood as the guardians of the Demon City. Each castle had its own unique design, symbolizing different aspects of the demonic hierarchy and culture. The grandest of these castles, situated at the heart of the city, was their destination. Each castle seemed to pulse with a life of its own, the walls glowing faintly with the energy of the demon world.

While he didn’t appreciate the offer, he understood it had been done out of some misplaced sense of empathy. Still, even today, he failed. Demonology was the most boring of all the classes. Drent, the instructor in charge, had them learning everything they could about as many demons as they could. So far, the man had covered only ten demons in detail and roughly twenty in passing. Kilvic, however, found nothing new, and was always forced to battle with a drowsiness born of boredom while the man taught and the risk of whispering answers beyond the instructor’s observation whenever one of his friends was asked a question they couldn’t answer.

“Taste the sweet suffering of the damned.” “Our world is much better than the one he knows.” The other demons began to dance. “Give him the gift of eternal pain.” “This will be the best day of his life.” “Now, Linus will know the true meaning of hell.” “Death will be the only escape for him.” “See how he screams for mercy.” “Burn in the inferno of the underworld.” The others chanted. Linus felt the heat of the flames. He tried to run away, but the demons were faster than him. They caught him and held him down.

He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

Most dragons were solitary and rarely had any reason to assemble. When I was young, my mother told me stories of the supernatural wars and the great dragon generals and warriors. I was surprised the gods had decided this was enough of a fight to be worthy of a Pendragon. I listened as another man spoke. “I’m Veles, Vasili of the desire demons. I free every demon who hears this from any commands I issued while under the influence of the government. Forgive me, please. Any who have the blood of demons in them, who disagree with what has been done to supernaturals and our people, follow your heart to me and fight.” He urged.

Kendrick looked at him warily, but Damon just smiled. "I believe we were discussing the terms of our deal," he said, his eyes glinting with amusement. Kendrick nodded, his expression cautious. "Yes, that's right." Damon leaned forward, his eyes locked on Kendrick's face. "I want a piece of your company," he said, his voice firm. "And I want it now." Kendrick hesitated, clearly taken aback by Damon's demands. But Damon just smiled, his eyes glinting with ruthlessness.

“This is where your progress during the Demon Hunter Trials will be recorded. The leaderboard contains everything you need to know. It will be synced to your tracker at all times and within all realms. Lose it and you will be disqualified, effective immediately.” “There are five kinds of demons in total, each ranked from lowest to highest,” Aamon continues, still pacing with his hands behind his back. “The first level are known as fledglings. These demons are not very powerful and can be disposed of with weapons. The second level, however, is resistant to weapons, even silver bullets and blades, and must be eradicated using magical items.

He put a cookie in his mouth and wiggled his fingers creating a pattern in the air made of smoke. “There are many demons in this land, and I don't mean here in Lutetia, I mean all over the world.” A drawing of the world map appeared among the smoke, but then disappeared. “I haven't lived long, compared to other demons I'm almost a teenager, but there are some things I know. One is that there are a lot of demons out there; they range from small guardians of the seasons to guardians of the true temples of the Astros. I am of a somewhat rare species, as well as being the only species that bears the name 'demon'."

With one flap, he lunged upward into the air; the wind brushing against his face as he worked his wings. As he caught up with Elicantris, he now had a clearer vision of what was beyond the peaks of the mountains. “Oh God,” Arth muttered to himself, seeing thousands of demons covering the slopes of the mountains, their numbers extending towards the west. Red-skinned beings covered in black dragon-scaled vests marched up towards the peak surrounding the encampment. “I thought demons have wings, Eli,” he whispered as he arrived at her side. Elicantris shook her head. “You generalize demons too much, Your Highness. The marching ones on foot are called Gunturs, or the Blood Orcs. They compose the
