I just couldn’t bring myself to delete them.
My heart ached as I stared at Jeremy, and soon, tears began trickling down my cheeks one after the other.
“I miss you, Jeremy,” I whispered, my heart clenching with pain in my chest. “I miss you so much.”
I scrolled through more pictures, getting more and more depressed the more I scrolled, and soon, when my heart couldn’t take it anymore, my eyes fluttered close, and I drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, I woke up feeling even more depressed than last night. My head was pounding from all the crying I did, and if I didn’t move quickly enough, I would be late to work, which was the last thing I wanted.
