Descendants 2 Mal And Ben Novels & Stories

He had turned away then, a Beta with a secret that could get him executed, and began the slow, agonizing climb to the High Council. --- Present Day Back in the apartment, Malcolm’s phone chimed. It was a notification from an unknown number. He swiped to see the photo of Lucien Varkas and Katalina on the balcony—the very flash Lucien had dismissed as a pool reflection. Malcolm smiled, a cold, predatory expression. "Welcome home, Genesis," he whispered to the empty room. "Let’s burn the empire down."

We were gone a lot longer than we planned to be. We walked up the stairs and opened the door to our apartment. Emily was sitting on the couch with a look of fear in her eyes. She was holding Zyria in her arms. "Where have you been? " she asked. She looked around us, "Where's Malcom?" I plumped down next to her and Roman remained by the door, still, in shock, I think. "He..." I took a deep breath before continuing. "He killed the Death Stalker, but looking into his eyes it was as if he had turned feral with rage. Then he took off into the night with its head still in his mouth." I think I am going to throw up!

But I know, I’m not the only one who noticed Benjamin’s awful facial expression. Mal is aware of it too, and by the looks of her, she’s enjoying this too much. “Okay fine Mr. Perv. You’re not guilty, you are innocent of watching that kind of live stream.” I know Benjamin is not convinced, because Mal sounds like she’s joking. “Right, we will keep it as a secret since were good friends Benj.” Ron joined Mal. Ron just chuckled as Benjamin's piercing stare fell on him. Yes, of course. This is a normal sight for me. Mal and Ron have a habit of teasing Benjamin, and Benjamin is the one who is always the target of their antics.

Xander again nods. "Who is the beta's descendants?" Xander sighs. "Since I found out the cursed skipped me, I've been doing some digging and found out that Jerry Desmond is Beta Kirk Desmond's descendent," "Jerry? As in Julia's mate?" Xander nods. "You mean Dominic and Bane will have the same mate?" "Yes," "When will the curse end?" "When Caliana chooses a Caputo of the Demond's," "After all these years, she hasn't ever chosen a Caputo?"

Those intense, dark eyes that had always seen too much, understood too much. And right now, they were fixed on me with an expression that made my heart race. "Zendaya," he said, and I hated how my name sounded on his lips. Hated how it made me feel things I had no business feeling, not now, not after everything with Derek. "Malachi," I managed to respond, my voice barely above a whisper. Adrian looked between us, a slight frown creasing his forehead. "Oh, I forgot to mention—Mal's back from Europe. He finished his business degree at Cambridge and now he's taking over his father's company."

he said, standing up. The twins hugged each other, tearfully apologizing. I watched from a distance, seeing no need to get involved. Jaden had already resolved it. He was the best father the twins could wish for, and that was that. "I think we should go downstairs," I said, picking up Mirian. "Jaden, can you take the boys?" I asked, holding Dandara's hand. "Let's go, Danda." She gave a faint smile and followed me as we left the apartment. Jaden just nodded at me. We took the elevator, and as we descended, Dandara looked up at me with bright eyes. "Thank you for staying with me, Aunt Malia."

That thought had his eyes snap open and thinking about the ring he’d bought. “You’re late,” Jessica murmured and he kissed her shoulder. “We had to get rid of two bodies.” Jessica turned around instantly and looked into his eyes. “What?” “Two Zetas came for Malika and Robert killed them.” Malachi closed his eyes again and sighed with exhaustion. “Dude, seriously! You just lay that out there and close your eyes? Are you insane?” Malachi smiled and opened his eyes again. “We all knew this would happen. Should I not tell you next time?”

He then asks Jack. “Well, you see. You were her husband but I am her brother. Meet Mallory Bastien Hilston.” “I really am Mallory? Not Malia? And I am married? Why the hell did you keep this from me?!” Mal angrily shouts and walked out of the room and locked herself inside her room. Ben followed her and kept on knocking the door. “Mal, please. We only wanted what’s best for you. We didn’t want you to remember that horrible past. When you technically died, Jack was devastated to receive the news, it was a miracle you survive. We only did what we thought was best for you.” Ben kept explaining.

Even if other Fire volts try to open it but they are not descendants of the Jivosaa family, then they will fail. Seconds later after Aven activated the pin, the floor in front of him slid open in a two-by-two meter square. A descending staircase was visible from above, leading down to the dark underground. Aven carried Asura back on his back, gritting his teeth as the pain in his wound was like biting bone. The man then descended, while the secret door slowly closed again automatically.

I just finished reading the last book when I started to write Descent for real! The title when this was still a draft was actually ‘Can’t Help Falling (In Love With You)’ because I was listening to the same song only the dark version at the time. But I got annoyed because I felt it was too freaking long to be a title. For a time, I settled calling the story "Fall from Grace" in my head but it still felt wrong... so when I searched for a synonym, the meaning of the word descent.. clicked; it feels like it perfectly sums up the entire plot.
