That should have been enough. At least he replied. At least he said something. But it didn’t feel like enough. It felt distant. Cold. Not like him. Or maybe… I had just gotten used to something else. Something softer. Something closer. I typed a reply. Then i erased it back Then, i typed again.

I bite my bottom lip and wait for his reply. There she is. I smile broadly as my heart rate picks up. I type back. When you think of me, what do you think about? I will wait for something to come through from him. I don't know how long I lie on my bed waiting for his reply but it's a long time. I feel my heart break as the seconds tick by. He won't reply. Tears start to well up I blink a few times and then suddenly the bubbles start moving on the screen. My heart starts going again. I grip my phone tightly waiting. This might be the open door I have been waiting for. I was hopeful this plan wpuld wprk but I didnt imagine it would be this fast.

I sat there on my bed for fifteen minutes but I didn't get any response and after ten more minutes, I realized I wasn't going to get any.
