I nodded, almost infinitesimally, and then I took a step back. Keeping my right eye closed, I grinned around the broken room at the last remaining vampires. There were three: one tall, dark, and would-be handsome (had he not been a murderous blood-sucker); one was short and stout and round, and I wondered how his pot belly and balding head helped him in acquiring a regular blood supply; the other was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen, slim and dark, with a perfectly coifed afro and narrowed green eyes – save for the blood smeared around her sensually curved mouth.

She watched him intently reading her schedule. “Go back to your classes. I'll see you later mate," he said and gave her the schedule back. He disappeared into the thin air leaving Cassandra all by himself. “That fvcker,” she cursed under her breath and stomped her feet. She breathed deeply and looked at the ceiling, realizing something. Her mate is no other than Sebastian Alistair Blood and worst of all he is the vampire prince. Cassandra doesn’t know if it’s possible to be mates with a vampire. Cassandra was lost in her thoughts. She heaved a sigh and left the room. She went back to her classes as the break was finally over.

Desmond’s tone was a bit aggressive. Swallowing my saliva, I carefully slid back in my seat until my back hit the door. My fingers gripped the car door handle, preparing myself to flee if things got out of hand after my next question. “Desmond, holy water only burns malignant spirits. Then how come you are affected by it?” Desmond’s pupils fixed on me. Under the sunlight, his iris’ looked almost golden. However, that time, instead of hypnotic seduction, they were burning with anger for me.

*Yes* the girl said handing him a file. "Good work" Desmond said glancing in the folder. "Now my payment please" she held out her hand. He smirked. Silly girl. He slammed her against the wall and sank his fangs in her neck. A soft cry was all that was heard as he muffled her screams and drank her dry. Her body fell down against the wall. "Next time you should reconsider playing with vampires" he said. He turned and left the alley way. He needed to make another stop. This one would be much more pleasurable. Perhaps even soothing.

She knew that they were in trouble. But just as she thought things couldn't get any worse, something strange happened. Steve's eyes turned dark, and his canines grew longer and sharper. He took a step forward, and the man stumbled back in fear. "You...you're a vampire," the man stuttered. Steve bared his teeth, his eyes gleaming in the darkness. "And you're in my territory," he said. The man turned and ran, disappearing into the shadows. Steve turned back to Celess, his eyes returning to their normal color.

Desmond said and disappeared "She must have called him" Michael smile and lean back on the couch waiting for Desmond's return ***** Desmond landed in the building and his eyes trailed round it till they landed on Nirvana "Nirvana?"
