Destiny 2 Buried Bloodline Novels & Stories

“Exiled into human society, where her children were born without the ability to shift, without the ability to be identified. But not without the bloodline.” “He put two ends of the same bloodline together,” I said, and heard my own voice from somewhere far away, the pieces assembling in my chest into something enormous and devastatingly logical all at once. “Your predecessor took the bloodline the Accord tried to erase three generations ago and engineered its return by making sure the two surviving branches found each other.”

it lives in the blood! She closed her eyes, shutting out the deafening clash of metal, the roars of the guards, and the terrifying resonance of Caelum’s blades meeting his resurrected brother's sword. She searched the depths of her soul, disregarding her outside conduits, and dove into her ancestral bloodline — the perfect, burning flame, passed down from Queen Aurelia and the old Solar Court.

“But when I touched you… I recognized it. As though it was buried deep within my memories.” “How?” I asked. “How did you recognize it?” She hesitated, then shook her head, seemingly helpless. “I don’t know. My hands moved on their own. It felt… familiar. Like I had known it from before.” She whispered the last part. A cold certainty settled in my bones. Instinct does not cure poisons like Dead Viles. Especially the one that comes from places like Demoor. Curing this needs a clear response to the curse. Something that is only carried by bloodlines. But what bloodlines, I wonder.

That image was evidence of Bloodline Manifestation. Bloodline Manifestation was not a skill or power per se; it was a force. It was a force that was born from the bloodline of a Beastman and it only appeared in Beastmen carrying a high level of their ancestor’s bloodline. It was similar to aura in the sense that not everyone could use it; however, unlike aura the determining factor for using Bloodline Manifestation was not luck, but bloodline purity. Bloodline Manifestation had many uses, but the most prominent one was Suppression. That was the ability Kylie had subconsciously used against Aiden. Suppression was just as it’s name implied. It forced one to bow before a possessor of a Bloodlin

Ninety miles to find graves that had been tended for three centuries. The moon was waning now—no longer blood-red, no longer swollen with power. Just a pale sliver in a black sky. But I could still feel it. Still feel the silver in my blood responding to something ancient. Something that had slept in my bloodline for generations, waiting for the right moment to wake. The cemetery was waiting too. And whatever was buried there—whatever Brian had been paying to hide—I was going to find it. Even if it destroyed everything. Even if it destroyed me.

Darian said quietly, his voice filled with quiet reverence, “You can’t change what they’ve done to you. But you can stop it. You have the power to end this—to end the Blood Pact. You’re not the weapon they made you to be. You’re more than that.” Asha swallowed hard, her gaze flicking from the tank to the pedestal that pulsed with dark energy. The Soulbone Imprint—her bloodline—was the source of the Blood Pact. Her ancestors, her people, had been betrayed. And now, as the last of the Frostkin, it was up to her to right the wrongs. But how? Could she destroy the very thing that gave her the power to fight back? Could she sever the connection to her own bloodline, to her own existence, for the

Lucien turned away, voice dropping: "I saw it in the ancestral memory — Azrael never truly died. A fragment of his soul hid in the hunters’ bloodline, awaiting rebirth. And that vessel… is Alaric Graves." Silence fell. A cold gust snuffed the fire. "So…" Evelyn whispered, "the curse never leaves any bloodline. It only changes hands." Lucien looked at her, eyes sad but resolute. "That’s why I need you, Evelyn. Only you — descendant of Light — can end it." She gave a weary, heartbreakingly beautiful smile: "If fate demands we spill blood once more, then at least… let it mean something." Lucien answered softly: "Your blood is my prayer."

Eyes like coal dipped in ice. “If you’re watching this, it means they’ve turned. Not against you. Against the blood.” “I always knew Umbra would rise again. I just didn’t think it would rise through our own veins.” Don Emilio lit a match. Let it burn down to the tip before snuffing it. “There’s a kill code. Buried in the genome of our bloodline. It can only be activated once.” “It’s encoded in you, Lorenzo.” Lorenzo didn’t breathe.

The memory of the Shade resurfaced, the way the darkness had swallowed me whole, the way it had felt alive. My hands trembled. The old man continued, his voice grim. “The Bloodborn were hunted to extinction. The alphas of the past feared them, feared what they could become. The few who survived hid their lineage, their power. They blended in with the rest of the wolves, their blood diluted over generations.” I sucked in a sharp breath. “Then why am I—” “Because some bloodlines cannot be erased,” the old woman said softly. “Yours has awakened.”

I was trapped in the past, buried in these damn history books like I was trying to dig up my own answers from centuries ago. My fingers flipped another fragile page, the parchment delicate beneath my touch. The text was faded in some areas, but the heading caught my eye: The Blood Legacy of the Bluestone Alpha Line. I leaned in, my eyes scanning every word like it might tell me something new. I’d already pieced together most of it from Ava, Christian, and Tyler over the past few days. But hearing it from their lips wasn’t the same as reading it with my own eyes. The Second Life Gene.
