Destiny 2 Buried Bloodline Novels & Stories

"It was empty when the boys opened it. Just the blood." Min crouched down, his expensive coat trailing in the sawdust. He ignored the blood seeping toward the soles of his boots. His eyes scanned the red mess. Something glinted. Buried in the center of the blood pool, half-submerged like a drowning victim, was a small object. Min reached into his pocket and pulled out a silk handkerchief, monogrammed, pristine white. He reached out and picked up the object, careful not to touch it with his bare skin.

“Your mate is irrelevant to what comes next. The children, however—” “Are *mine*,” you snap, baring your teeth. Your wolf surges forward, a growl rumbling in your chest. The guard wolves tense, but the woman raises a hand, silencing them. “You misunderstand,” she says, stepping closer. The torchlight glints off the dagger at her hip—a curved blade etched with runes you don’t recognize. “The Solara bloodline was thought extinct. Your ancestors defied the Goddess, and she buried them in ice and shadow. But the prophecy survived. And now…” Her gaze flicks to the twins. “The Veil’s Chosen have returned.”

I'm nothing more than a hanger-on. I remove my phone from my handbag and contact Cynthia after I've changed back into my normal clothes and we're on our way to what promises to be a very awkward lunch with Mrs. Daniels. You must tell me everything about the mating ritual. I only know that the couples whose pacts are sealed at Lupercalia congregate before Lupa's monolith to be anointed with blood from the day's sacrifices. Then acolytes lead them to the ancient chambers beneath our forefathers' massive mound. The viewers' role is complete, and they all depart to enjoy the rest of the Lupercalia festivities. Nobody has told me what occurs when I walk down the torch-lit route to the mound.

She asked. I looked down at the green trimmed grass. Her question scratched my canker sores. My father has always been controlling and demanding. Just whispered: “The third.” I turned to him, wild. “You knew?” He nodded once. “She was buried before either of us were born. The prophecy said the bloodline would carry three flames. Three heirs. But our mother was terrified. Said one of us would be born cursed.” Lucan’s blades clattered to the dirt. “They buried her alive?” Kael, still partially frozen by my brother’s earlier magic, managed to choke out a word: “Who is she?” I stared at the girl. Her claws dragged along the rocks. Her bare feet left trails of frost. Her eyes met mine—and I felt it.

The ashes beneath the rubbles reveal the history of an unknown bloodline that I had not been aware of. A fact that could potentially alter the course of events. The destiny of the Lycan kings is connected to a prophecy that concealed truths hidden in my blood, and are still believed by some. I'm afraid. Deep inside, I sense a slight sensation of an ancient thought taking shape beneath the surface of my past. My understanding now is that the future is not solely dependent on war. It's discovery. Revelation. Ancestry that connects me to a destiny I don't know. As the final battle approaches, I must confront what's buried in the rubble.

Bienley smiled at their sons and stared at Justin. "Can you imagine that Justin? You can have a child with Cullen and Dalton's blood...yours and Zack's blood. The dream I wanted to have is given to you. You will carry Zack's child inside your body...that child will grow inside you until you can bring him/her out of the world. You will watch Zack's child grow and you will hear and feel the heartbeat that would eternally bind you and Zack for a lifetime" Bienley continued to explain.

Haha i must be thinking to much. I dropped her off infront of the school and went to do my own work. Just then my phone rang "hello" I picked it up. "hey Aidan where are you?! I am waiting for you." Jes said.. oh shit i forgot to inform her.. "oh my god.... I am so sorry Jes... I am. already at school can you bring your car today?" I replied apologizoptically. "But you...." she signed "okay fine I'll get there first" she said and hung up. Thank god she wasn't mad because mad Jes is a very so not good thing. I used my air magic, so I lift the ash's off the ground and then I used earth to make a whole in the ground and place the ash's in the hole and cover it back up. Then we all go for some rest. In the morning the rain is coming down, so fast that you can hardly see through it. I look at Arizer and he is carving something and when I have a look I am gobsmacked. It is the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. It was a mixture of symbols for witches, wolves, elves and vampires all blended with swirls and flowers. It says in the middle "Here lies the bravest men and women I will ever meet. They deserve to rest in peace. Asher Evans, sacrificed himself for the good of the world."

The contract that had begun as protection had become something neither of them could set aside without consequence. She had refused to remain ordinary. She had claimed the bloodline that was never meant to survive. And now the cost of that claim required not only strength, but a place where the power could settle—and a connection that had already moved beyond strategy into necessity. Damian started the systems again, quieter this time, and turned the vehicle toward terrain that did not appear on residual search grids or modern hierarchical maps. The next interval would not be measured only in distance and silence. It would be measured in whether the unbound bloodline could find a baseline th
