An excerpt from Destiny Book 1... It was a great journey for the Montevista Family. After Kristina and Nathaniel had been through a lot, here they were with their five beautiful children. They've grown up so well and are kind just like their parents. Kristina and Nathaniel were so proud of all of them. Kristina smiles while she reminisces all the trials they've been through with Nathaniel. She was setting the buffet table now for their family dinner. Carina was helping her. 'Lets go now' urges Jessica and pulls me along. We walk hoping its the right way and reach the tangled roots again, but this time the roots open up and make a path for us to pass through easily.

We were still moving through the cold hallways, but from where I stood beside him, his body warmth flushed against my skin, making my legs feel heavier. He hates me, yet he keeps me by his side. Protects me. Aside from being ruthless, he is rather odd and also… I pictured how he had grabbed my father’s throat, almost clawing him into pieces. “Sovia is my mate.” His voice echoed. A small smile touched my lips. This demon was feral, but also cute. Reality slammed into my lungs as he tossed me inside my room. Destiny’s POV The conversation around whether allying with the Venus Pack was a good idea or not was being discussed around the table, and I honestly couldn't care less. What I needed was to find a way out of this place before Alpha Theo might actually succeed in getting me pregnant. Different ways I could escape ran through my mind, each playing out in my head ending up with me getting caught and being dragged back. I just needed to up my— “Destiny!” I looked up from my food, my thoughts shattering as my eyes clashed with intense grey ones that made my breath hitch. “Yes.” My voice came out breathy.

Now her face was flushed red. The heat ran through Zeline's body as Fello's long fingers ran down her face. Shit! Zeline’s just wet down there. For whatever reason, the gentle touch of Fello on her face made the hairs on Zeline's neck goosebumps. God created Fello as a demon, a faith tempter with the beginning of a heavenly angel.

I hid my face in Daniel’s chest as the traitor laughed at my expense along with the intruders. We went through a lot in the past. Sometimes together. Sometimes alone but we still faced it head on and conquered every problem. The result of the struggle, our beautiful family. Our wonderful pups. The loving friends we have that are more like family and our delightful packs. I can say the struggle and pain was worth it if the end result is this beautiful. There is no way to change the past or to predict the future. But we can surely make an effort in the present and work towards a better future. Destiny is not something that is bound to happen. It is something we work hard for, to make it happen
