Detective Casie Blackwood and the Moonlit Secrets

Detective Casie Blackwood and the Moonlit Secrets

"You can track by scent." "Enhanced senses," Casie confirmed. "Sight, hearing, smell—all stronger than human baseline." "That's how you always found evidence the rest of us missed," Rick murmured, pieces clicking into place. "Those reflexes in the field. The way you seemed to know when someone was lying." "Among other things." She watched his face carefully, looking for signs of revulsion or fear. Instead, she saw the methodical processing of a detective reassessing years of observations.

Detective in the crosshairs

No. The department must be trusted. And the agency should send reliable people to work there. He closed all the windows with his mouse. - All open... you are a detective and you leave evidence like this? Maybe I do need a break. Without realizing it, he missed the slip of a criminal.

A very hard read at first, but when you keep reading, the storyline and characters draw you in. If you like dark storyline like this one, give another title a read, 'Marked, Broken, and Carrying His Heir' (no, I'm not the author). The story is twisted and you will also love the strong female lead.

It was the best book ever… I loved it until the part where she lost her memory…. Omg the stuff that happened to her after she got abducted, killed my soul completely and I haven’t been able to read any further. I’ve been too afraid that it will continue. I hope I can continue reading.

Submitting to My Best Friend's Dad

Submitting to My Best Friend's Dad

Her threat did not go unnoticed, and as I nodded my head, she gestured with her hand for me to basically get lost, or disappear out of her hair, whatever it was that she wanted to call it. I wasn't going to have her tell me twice, so turning quite quickly, I made my way towards the front door, prepared to go search her car for anything that this person could have left. Maybe I should call a detective friend or somebody with the expertise at dusting for fingerprints. He had obviously touched the stroller, and it made me wonder if there was anything else he had touched that I could use to figure out who he was. I was no detective myself. I was a real estate agent with a very bad past, and my i

OMG I can't put this book down I hope the updates come before I catch up. I really dnt know who I want Becca with bcz I like both. She has had a lot of miscommunication with James. But I can see her with both.

This book started off amazing, now I feel like it is being drug out. I really hope the author starts releasing longer chapters and brings the book to a close soon. I really don’t want it to end up being one of those that never ends…

The Feral Alpha’s Rejected Luna

The Feral Alpha’s Rejected Luna

He’s also frowning, arms crossed, eyes narrowed like he’s chewing on something that doesn’t sit right. “You got all that?” I ask him. He nods slowly. “Yeah.” “And?” I press. He doesn’t answer immediately. Then, with a grunt, he says, “Sounds suspicious. There’s definitely more to it.” I nod once. “My thoughts exactly.” One thing about Brodik is that his gut is never wrong. He’s sharp. Meticulous. A bloodhound when it comes to finding information and sniffing out what others miss. That is why he is always my go-to guy when it comes to investigating things.

Alpha Nox

Alpha Nox

Hakeem was the only one of us that managed to sound calm and collected. The Whisperer’s attention was a physical thing that one could feel wash over them. It brought with it temptation and curiosity, a growing need to put a face to that voice and name. “Hakeem Wilson, how I hoped Lilac would bring you along. Did you know that truth-seeking is a rare ability? Actually, don’t answer that. Apart from being a ‘human lie detector,’ you have no clue what your ability is capable of. It’s a shame, really.” He was baiting him. I knew that, and so did Hakeem, yet he took to it just as the Whisperer intended.

Awesome book with a crazy, strong female. Has some typos and inconsistencies but still understandable as has decent grammar. Would be better if nox had shown more of his abilities to be at par with his strong mate

This was the 3rd Jane Doe book I read. Alpha nox is a really good read with a badass female lead. You're a talented author and I can say you've become my favorite author! My heart broke into pieces at some point but intense emotions are what I love the most about your work! Good job, Jane!

Siren in the Wind - book one of the MIT2 series

Siren in the Wind - book one of the MIT2 series

This type of surveillance was a drip, drip, drip information operation, and learning the target’s tells and giveaways took patience. Max had a talent for reading people—one of the reasons he worked for MIT. Many called him a walking lie detector but no one could be a human lie detector. In Max’s eyes, anyone who bragged that they could do that was stupidly arrogant. The human psyche was layered and complex, and detecting deception was challenging.

CAKE's Evidence

CAKE's Evidence

“Welcome back, Miss Detective!” My gaze shifted from her face down to her body, and then to the surroundings. I smirked and gave her a welcoming deduction show. “Since I wasn’t present last Monday and yesterday, I assume you might have missed hearing the brilliance of my deductive prowess.” “Oh, right! You were on the news yesterday!” Toto pointed out. “You helped a police detective to solve a fifteen-year-old case.”

In Love With My Disguised Bodyguard

In Love With My Disguised Bodyguard

Do soft words move a criminal? The both detectives gave each other a knowing glance – ostensibly their eyes were calculating. “I'm doing this all wrong. Detective Frank told me how I was supposed to behave, what my body language should be, strategic physiological pressure points to get the upper hand, and how to trip you up in your lies. But I'm not going to do that. I think this is intimidating. Unpredictable person. Maybe it's the role you got to play to survive in a dangerous place for ten years. I think you have to become what people think you are. If an actual crime has been committed, to me, it's still an open question.
