This was another system protocol written into 2Pac’s program files. Mark brought up his robotic suit’s ammunition blockers, which were two triangular-shaped energy blast proof shields. The two shields activated themselves and they arose out of both of the robotic suit’s arms. Mark tried to block the gunfire coming from two 3D printed handguns that 2Pac pulled out of two mechanized pockets that emerged from his abdomen. The battle began as a gunfight, and so far Mark held his own against 2Pac. He activated his nuclear-powered energy sub-machine gun and fired away at 2Pac.

It took everything he had, to say the things he’d said a hundred times to other thugs. Daniel came up and joined him, both of their muzzles inches from the human’s face. They were so on the edge of their rage they didn’t hear the guy fumble for his pocket. Suddenly the two of them were shoved to the side and a gunshot exploded in the room. Darius and Daniel leapt up and spun around. Donald held the gun, now the only one of the pack to be in full human form. He’d disarmed and shot the burly guy in the thigh, and now Valentino was screaming on the floor and holding his leg. Donald shot him again. Then he aimed it at the white guy.

Dude was very sadistic once it came to his business. “So, I leave New Orleans to become a better person because of the treaty.” Eric began. “Never in a million years, did I ever think it would be broken by a fucking hybrid Greyson and my fucking daughter. Please, can somebody explain that shit to me?” The room was silent again. When nobody answered his fucking question, Eric snapped his fingers. Both of the men he brought with them came over to us and pointed their guns at us. We already knew that the bullets he carried were no ordinary bullets. They were meant to kill us wolves.

With a deep breath, he kicked the door open, his gun aimed at the ready. Inside, two men were perched on a worn-out sofa, their eyes glued to the television. The room reflected a haphazard mess of takeout containers and empty beer cans scattered across the floor. The lingering aroma of grease and alcohol permeated the air. Their guns were resting casually on the coffee table nearby. The men jumped at the sudden intrusion, their eyes widening with shock. One of them reached for his gun, but Nicolai was quicker. He fired a silenced shot that tore through the man's hand, eliciting a scream of agony.

" It's not working." This got on Derrick's nerves and he cocked his 45.colt. and pointed it at HD, who was squatting beside Ice and backing the others. Everyone was startled. HD clenched his fists and locked gaze with Ice. Ice glanced at the gun, rolled his eyes and closed them again. "I know you don't care about dying but if you don't give me what I want right now, I will not just kill your partner, I will also make sure you stay alive and die a thousand times."

Behind him, a young man was dusting a shelf, clearly pretending not to hear. "I'm not doing your dirty work!" she said, voice trembling with fury. Diego's gaze flicked to the cleaner, just for a heartbeat. Then he pulled a gun from his holster and fired. Just once was enough to rip a hole right through the poor man's skull. Rebecca screamed at the top of her voice, falling to the ground in terror. The sound cracked through the room like thunder. The cleaner had dropped, blood spreading across the floor. "He was useful," Diego said quietly, setting the gun on his desk. "Until he wasn't."

“Take them.” I fired, my Beretta barking, the bullet grazing Viktor’s shoulder, blood spraying, his scream sharp. His men opened fire, their guns flashing, the warehouse erupting, bullets pinging off crates. Ethan and I stood back-to-back, our vests absorbing hits, our guns blazing—my Beretta, his Glock, our shots precise, their men dropping, blood pooling.

I walked backward until my heel felt the edge of the ground. ***Come on, let’s go home. I won’t hurt you.*** Alpha Delbert’s voice assaulted my mind. “Malarky!” I spat out as I cocked the shotgun with trembling hands and aimed it at Alpha Delbert. ***Drop the gun, dame.*** An angry fire burned in his eyes as he tried to use his Alpha tone on me. Unfortunately for him, it didn’t work because he was nothing to me but a murderer. “Over my dead body! Kiss off!” I didn’t even blink as I wrapped my finger around the trigger. A deafening boom violently exploded from the barrel of the shotgun. Shattered bone fragments and blood spilled from Alpha Delbert’s shoulder.

The sun was already up, its warmth seeping through my skin as I leaned against the table watching Dimitri. He grabbed one of the protective headphones, covering his ears, and picked up a gun. He turned his attention to the target, wielding the gun as his cannon arms pointed towards the target. He set his aim on the target and a pop sound blasted into the air. Instantly another set of pop, pop, pops erupted. The sound reverberated through my chest, the vibration rattling my bones. It brought a slight buzz to my system. A building awakening. It's power. The threat. I wanted it for myself.

She looked us over like a mother hen guarding a bunch of sparkly chicks, "They’re Capones, G." "I saw more guns today than I’ve seen in my entire life!" I said, waving my hands around, "And they don't even hide them. It’s like, 'Oh, pass the salt, and also, here is my Glock.' And the staring! Oh my god, the staring. They didn't just look at me; they stared at me like I’d personally broken into their house and stolen their favorite children." Tasha laughed, her dark skin glowing under the vanity lights as she dusted gold shimmer over her collarbones, "Girl, at least they’re rich. If I’m going to be stared at by a man with a weapon, he better have a private jet and a designer suit."
