He pushed her onto the mattress, caging her beneath his formidable frame. The sheets thrashed about as she struggled to cover herself, but he would have none of it. Zayden's mouth descended upon her breast, his teeth grazing the tender skin. Hema cried out, the sting of pain morphing into an unwanted surge of pleasure. He nibbled and bit, marking her flesh as his own, a perverse brand of possession.

It’s the Snakes; they’re looking for me. They must have heard me scream and noticed the door of the Snake Pit still wide open.

I don't consider the Scorpions a threat the way I consider the leader of snakes, as cunny and manipulative as a serpent. “Enjoying your night, I see. I small bed of hot coals appeared just under his upper body and he started screaming. Blaine smiled, “I like it, but the noise may keep the snakes away. Can you take them away?” Lena took them away and Blaine smiled, “Now, we’re ready. You see, Devlin, I am a special wolf. The Goddess blessed me with my wolf to make leading a pack from a wheelchair easier. I will be using one of my abilities to execute you.” He looked up at the window in his cell, and the snakes started coming through the window and slithering down the wall. The prisoner’s eyes went wide with terror, “NO!”

His whimper is pitiful and filled with fear, but I have no sympathy for him. The young man snarls when he catches our scent and starts to rage against his bindings again. The chains clang loudly, the hollow sound echoing off the walls. The scent of sweat and fear fills the air. Simone wrinkels her nose and blindly reaches out for me. I side-step towards her and rest my hand on the small of the back.
