"Don't take him away from me, please. I can't let him go just yet. Not after everything. My body trembles with quiet sobbing as the tears become more intense and I bury my face in my hands. The Moon Goddess may or may not be listening, but I have to think she is. There must still be hope, in my opinion. I mutter, "He’s everything to me," while I cry. "Just give me more time, please. Let him live, please. The length of time I spend kneeling on the chilly floor with my hands clenched together in fervent prayer is unknown to me. The tears soon cease, though, and all that's left in my chest is an empty emptiness. I gently get to my feet, wipe my eyes, and go back to the chair. Luca turns to face

“It’s not like I’m regarding you with scorn because you’re no longer innocent… You know why.” Aaron’s hand, which held a cigarette, paused momentarily. Then, he put the unfinished cigarette in his mouth. He raised his hand and pushed Benjamin against the car door with a great force. “Don’t forget, you're standing on God’s right hand side. You’ll lose your qualifications if you care too much.” Naturally, Aaron knew that Benjamin did not really despise him because his hands were stained with other people’s blood, and neither did he regard him with scorn because he was no longer innocent.

She gave hope and assurance to Jane garnered with wisdom. “There`s this Lord`s book called ‘Devotion Of The Most Precious Blood Of Our Lord Jesus. (The greatest devotion of our time)’. Her journey inspired them to embrace the power of prayer as a transformative tool, offering them a pathway to deepen their own spiritual connection and invite divine intervention into their lives. With Chapter Twenty-Four, Rita's tale neared its conclusion, leaving readers with a profound understanding—that prayer was not a ritualistic practice but a sacred dance of the heart, an invitation to surrender, to co-create, and to commune with the divine. It was a reminder of the infinite power that resided within and the boundless love that flowed through the act of prayer.

Offer our prayers to the Most High, that without delay they may draw His mercy down upon us; take hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, bind him and cast him into the bottomless pit that he may no longer seduce the nations! A visible twitch crossed Xavier's face, his grin disappearing. "In the Name of Jesus Christ, our God and Lord, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul and all the Saints! And powerful in the holy authority of our ministry, we confidently undertake to repulse the attacks and deceits of the Devil! God arises; His enemies are scattered

It was like a multitude of voices, and I trembled a bit, but I continued to pray from under my breath while the laughter increased. "Praying with fear in your heart only makes me happier, my love," the voice teased. I stopped praying and he laughed louder. "Lord," I said, "James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." I repeated the verse again and again like a chant while the entity inside of the room laughed louder and louder. "Stupid!" The voice screamed, and I knew it was now in front of me as I felt like something was holding on my neck, but there was nothing touching me. It was like I was choking, but nothing was there.

“Daily devotional practices are to be kept.” I take a deep breath. I turn towards the altar in my room and say my daily devotionals. The routine of it comforting and calming, my nausea subsiding. “A strict code of silence is to be maintained. No speaking, singing, or humming. The only words to be said are in prayer.” I like silence. It is comforting. Listening to the wind whip through the grasses. Watching the grass gracefully bend to the wind’s will. Hearing the birds calling for a mate, their eager lover whistling back to accept his call. Nature is magic.

In the central hall, there is a small altar adorned with white candles, white flowers, and a photo of the deceased family member, Adam Hart. The atmosphere in the room feels sacred as if the spirits of the departed family members are present among them. Shaky voices and sobbing are no longer heard, but the silence still lingers, not allowing feelings to rise too quickly from the sorrow. "Let us begin to pray." The priest opens the prayer book they have been using for the past seven days. With a melodious voice, the priest starts reciting prayers full of gratitude, loyalty, and respect for the spirit of Adam Hart. His voice resonates beautifully as if invoking the spirit of Adam to join them

'Praise him with trumpet sound; Praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with timbrel and dance, Praise him with strings and pipes. Praise him with sounding cymbals. Praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! “Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,' Thundi prayed. 'As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end, amen. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us from now, forth and forever, amen.'

' And their voices became one cry. "–Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us," She heard bells ring and believed someone had spotted the Athànatoi. "–And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from every evil, even this evil that is upon us, Lord. "For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory. Forever. Amen."
