"How dare you go against me?! I am your king!" Dexter looked a shadow of himself, dark eyes, shrunken body, with a wolfish grin. "Not for long," he said, baring his fangs, "Now!" He ordered and the next second, the warriors cocked their guns, opening fire on me with silver bullets laced with wolfsbane.

Then, Maddox Dasher stepped in the wedding venue, the gun remains in his hand. The guests who had started to run was stopped when Maddox spoke, "Please stay calm as the wedding is going to happen right now." He put the gun back to his pocket and walked up to the altar. Pidge was still mourning, crying heavily. "Get up..." he held her arm. When she saw him, anger rushed down her veins when she stood up to slap him hard in the face. With a clenched jaw, he grabbed her hand roughly and said, "Maddox Dasher..."

I looked up to see Dexter and a big smile appeared on my face as he hugged me . " You're going to be safe. " he said pulling me behind him. The guards came running towards our direction and they started a shooting spree. It's not that I doubt Dexter's shooting skill but only him couldn't take all of them, I had to do something, we would be better two than one. When a man fell down I went and took his gun then helped in taking them down. " I didn't know you shoot. " he said and I turned to look at him. " I was hoping I'd never have a reason to. "

He wasn't pleading. “If you think Dexter will help you, then you have a better thought coming and that will be six feet below the earth,” I said. Dexter came out last. He walked out of the farmhouse itself, not the barn, through the front door, which meant he had been inside watching the entire approach. He was dressed simply, in dark clothes, no armor, with the loose unhurried confidence of someone who knew the numbers were in his favor and saw no reason to dress the occasion up.

A tense moment passes, and this time, I expect the worst. Dexter pulls out his gun and points it directly at Alex. “Give me one reason why I shouldn’t put a bullet between your eyes.” I have to intervene. “Dexter, please! He’s just doing his job.
