Dexter rushed to her and the bullet hit him. “Kaylee.” Kaylen called and was about to rush to them but Xavier held him and got under the table with him. “Let go of me.” He yelled in tears but Xavier held him tightly. The gunshots died down, Kaylee cried as she stared at Dexter and her mother. “Dexter, wake up.” She cried as she tapped him. She looked over at Clara and watched as blood gushed out of her. “Mummy.” She cried as she tried to reach for her but she couldn't because Dexter was on her.

His breath was heavy, heart hammering as Zeno approached, calm as ever. The older man pulled out a sleek pistol, cocked it, and aimed. “You know, I never liked messes. But you? You’re one I can no longer ignore.” He raised the gun. BANG. The shot rang out—but not from Zeno’s weapon. Zeno gasped, staggering backward as blood bloomed across his chest. The gun fell from his hand and clattered on the rooftop. Behind him stood Dexter, his son, his hand still trembling around the smoking pistol.

“Axel, I’ll blow your fucking head off if you don’t shut up. This is between me and Antonio. He thinks he’s better than me, but that ends today.” “What? You’re going to kill me? You’ll start a war in the family.” “You think you’re that important, huh?” He takes another step, but I don’t step back this time. I don’t just think it, I know I’m important. But I don’t say that to the man with the gun since I plan to walk out of here alive today. But maybe the universe doesn’t want me walking out of here alive like I’d hoped for myself because in that moment, Dexter pulls the trigger, and the loud gunshot is the only sound that pierces the air as I fall backwards and straight onto the ground.

Suddenly the gun stopped shooting and he realized that he was out of bullets. “Fuck.” He cursed under his breath. But he didn't stop, he threw the gun to the floor and got closer. The moment the guy stepped out to shoot, Dex closed the distance and slammed his fist into his face, unhanding the gun from him and throwing it far away from the both of them. Dex watched as he staggered back, blood spraying from his nose. But he recovered quickly, swinging his own fist heavily. Dex ducked under it and drove his elbow into his ribs, hearing a satisfying crack.

Fenrir: I peered through the narrow gap between two containers, watching Dexter climb into the rear compartment of the vehicle with the silver briefcase held tightly against his ribs. "He is moving the serum," I shouted over the noise. Shit, shit, shit. My hand tightened on the grip of my gun as the engine of the truck roared to life. Damon slammed a fresh magazine into his receiver. His eyes scanned the layout of the bay carefully. "The main garage door is opening behind them."

With Dexter's loud voice, everyone could clearly hear what he said. "I will kill you all!" Edwin said like crazy and pulled out the gun hidden under his coat. Those who were there screamed and cowered in fear. With the speed of the incident, Jennifer was stunned. She didn't know how Yazed was hugging her. Everything that happened seemed to be in slow motion and her eyes gradually widened when she heard the gunshot. "I'm so sorry!" Yazed whispered softly and his embrace gradually loosened. Jenny quickly wrapped her hands around his body when she felt him let go of her. "Y-You're hurt?" She asked tearfully as she touched the blood from his back.

Then— Two gunshots. Straight to his chest. “W-why…?” He choked on blood. “One of your bullets killed my people.” I stared down at him. Cold. Empty. “See you in hell… boy.”

The Vandals nearby circled around him, almost protectively. Ryders circled Aston. In the room, testosterone brimmed. Tattooed bikers facing each other off. “Oh, I’m sorry, I heard you like to hunt and display your kills so I thought I could bring you a fresh head,” Dexter said. His eyes were wild and psychopathic. “You think this is a joke? You’re a dead man,” Mr. Chadwick barked.

She tried to run towards me but another held her down. She screamed as one of them lunged for me, then stopped mid-air, slammed backward by something invisible. Gunfire. Two sharp shots. Then silence. Within seconds, three of Xavier’s men appeared, black-clad and efficient. The rogues were on the ground before they could shift. “Luna,” one of them said, bowing slightly, “are you hurt?” I blinked, breathing hard. “You… who sent you?” The man didn’t hesitate. “Alpha’s orders. We were told to keep watch until you were safely inside. We apologize for not making ourselves known sooner, however, we did not expect things to escalate this way.”
