I glanced at the screen. Jasmine. "We're at the bar," she said the moment I picked up. "Dexter is back. We have to welcome him home!" I stilled. Dexter. I hadn't heard that name in a long time. The momentary surprise was quickly replaced by a rush of excitement. "Okay," I said, already grabbing my coat. "I'll be there soon." Dexter had grown up alongside us. As the eldest grandson of the Crest Pack, he had every privilege a werewolf could dream of. Yet, instead of embracing his birthright, he had chosen a different path—leaving behind the pack and its politics to chase fame.

Most corpse controllers were actually righteous practitioners, but Dexter's twisted mind had led him down a dark path. His murder count was highest among the Aces because of his obsession with zombie creation. He would regularly experiment on living people and even children, so his crimes were truly unforgivable. Dexter pulled out a bell. With a shake, four figures appeared. "Mr. Hunter, I can guarantee with absolute certainty that none of you are leaving here alive!"

I countered, wondering how, of all the places that he could actually be from, it was the same pack that Katherine had been a slave in. “Yes, Alpha. But it appears that in his history before his sudden appearance in Omnidom, everything about him had been empty. Even though his life in Omnidom supposedly began from when he was seventeen years old.” Azra said, and that made sense to me. “Azra, Dexter had the ability to look like different people. People that were dead could take their forms and look exactly like them, and no one would be able to detect them. He must have shown up there.” I said, and Azra shook his head.

I walked out of the place with intent in my steps, Dexter following behind me. Our relationship was still strained following our prison break, however, we were able to find a common ground following our shared goal of invading the Vampire territory, tearing it down and rescuing Ira. As a result of the impacts of the attacks on our kingdom, it became clear that a substantial number of warriors had been lost. Which left a few capable warriors and a lot of underdeveloped ones. Upon assessing the sorry state of our army, Dexter took on the role of the commander of our army, a role he excelled beautifully, in preparation for the war ahead of us.

**Author's POV** Dexter stepped into the woods and looked around. After returning from the witch's place and acquiring power, he realized that his senses were heightened more than before and he was almost invincible. He could do whatever he wanted to, see whatever he wanted, and hear whatever he wanted as well. And what he had heard was something he wouldn't want to happen. He'd have to take them out to avoid his plans getting ruined by a wannabe Luna. He disappeared and appeared in front of the hut where he had kept the elders himself. With a smirk, he placed a knock on the door.
