LEA'S POV Easton turned his car in the Phoenix Reach area and was immediately greeted by a guard. The guard opened the gate in less than a second and bowed respectfully to Easton. The car entered unceremoniously, and a large courtyard surrounded him with trees. To be honest, I'm used to the life of people who own big businesses. The Dennison family itself arguably has more than enough wealth and assets. But when I saw the Easton residence, I was still quite surprised.

Liam hesitated for a moment before answering, but there was no point hiding something she was bound to find out sooner or later. "Eastern Euridia has amazing commercial ports. The main one is Novenhrad, which gives us access to Karevsk without having to sail halfway around the world," he said, pointing to the map. "But there are also other ports that open the way to the poorer countries in the region. That's where we drop off non-conflict materials as donations: school supplies, clothes, vaccines, canned food."

“It was all very, Hallmark-chick-flick-pukefest if you ask me.” He stomped down on the gas as he drove further into the mountains. The road twisted and turned, and soon, the air got colder. I looked around my surroundings and tried to devise a plan to get out of this situation. I couldn’t contact my pack or my family. I hadn’t travelled too far, and if my bearings were correct, all I needed to do was run East, and I would hit Kempthorne. Then, he wouldn’t be able to touch me, right? No werewolf could harm another werewolf in Kempthorne.

" Eden pleaded with full hope in front of Aciel. While she is recovering after giving birth, she will never be able to move freely in search of Olivia. “I will definitely do it. Easton started to drive, it was only an half hour away. “I am so happy to be going away. Mostly because I get to spend time with you sweets, but also because it has been absolutely insane during those meetings. So it turns out Samira and Alpha Edward are second mates and they hate each other. Like not in an opposite attracts kind of way, but they really dislike each other and I don’t see how the Goddess would pair them together.” Easton said. I wondered out loud, “is the Moon Goddess that powerful? Doesn’t she ever make mistake? Those who have an abusive mate for example. I’d like to think we still have a choice too.”

He grinned and left, then I picked up the chopping stick. “Are you sure he didn't find you in the restroom?” Kisey inquired. He had seen me hurry out of there when I noticed that Eden was searching for me with my scent. “She knows that whoever it is that saved her from the woods is her mate, and she must find him.” I licked my lips, nothing was interesting in this world when you weren't happy. “Now that she's my mate, do you think she won't reject me if she finds out?”

Easton smiled at me before replying, “Anything you want baby girl.” Easton held my hand as he drove. He suddenly turned straight into the woods, and I was worried until I saw that we had come to a hidden dirt road. It only took a few minutes for us to reach the spring he mentioned. It was truly beautiful, and I couldn’t even speak at first because I was so stunned by its beauty. The water was sparkling and clear, but appeared to have a silver hue because of the stones surrounding it. I could see where this pack’s name originated. Easton quickly parked the car and got out. I was about to open my door, but he sprinted around the car to open it for me.

The vegetation that was everywhere one could look was lush, even tropical looking almost. “How is this possible?” I asked of no one in particular. The Captain answered, “Welcome to Eden. You may well be the first Russian to see this place, at least we can hope so.” As he said that I didn’t miss the dark look given to me by the CIA dude. Must have a thing against Russians, only I really wasn’t Russian, rather I was an American and yet I seemed to have none of the rights of one. The Captain went on, “What we’re floating along into right now is a jolly old caldera of a mostly sunken volcano.”
