Marked by fate

Her cream pencil skirt and white blouse are immaculate and elegant, and suddenly I feel painfully self-conscious about my shorts and Converse. “Vivien, lovely to see you as always,” Alison says, shaking her hand. “This is Zahra,” she adds, patting my shoulder as she introduces me. I shake Vivien’s hand as well, and she smiles warmly. “Well, everything is ready for you, if you’d like to follow me.” Ready? I thought we were shopping. She leads us into the back of the shop through a curtained doorway and into a massive room. Four doors are set into the walls, there’s a raised circular platform in the centre, and mirrors cover almost every surface.

Stalked By My Alpha

Stalked By My Alpha

The security saw him, and bowed in front of him, letting him walk in directly. Bella was surprised to see it but didn't think much since there were not many people around. Why were there no people around? Was it a small mall where many people did not come? It did not look like that though. She looked around and then noticed all the shops. There were only big brands all around. Dolce, Chanel, Hermes, and Louis Vuitton. Everything looked extremely expensive and shiny. Living with Hunter she had already gotten used to seeing all the luxuries, but she never really went shopping with him. He always had everything delivered to her at home for her convenience.

I hope Bella will come back even stronger after this... Damon will be so regretful on how he left things and what he did when she finally leaves him... Great story but I hope it won't drag too long...

I like the plot a lot. Very interesting chapters, and fun to read as well. The only downside of this novel would probably be its slow update. However, the story and characters are a big thumbs up for me.

A Second Chance From The Heavens

A Second Chance From The Heavens

He seemed a little puzzled, but wasn’t interested enough to know deeper. Allison fell silent. Edward Laurier was a hard man to read, so she had about as much idea as Matthew did about the current state of things. But at least Matthew seemed more confident and relaxed lately, which was a plenty good thing. Perhaps his outburst with his father had helped him more than he had imagined. As they rounded a corner, Allison slowed her pace as something caught her eye. There was a small, pleasant-looking shop, sandwiched between a bookstore and a café. The window displayed an array of tiny clothes in pastel colors and stuffed animals. There was also a white wooden cradle with a soft blue blanket in t

Street Diaries

Street Diaries

But the Kabal seemed unbothered, not even a word until I called to meet, something was definitely up, and they knew about it. The night was heavy with anticipation as my brothers and I stepped out of our jeep and walked down the dimly lit alleyway of Aljuree Avenue towards the secret meeting place of the Kabal. Our footsteps echoed off the cobblestone pavement, drowning out the distant sounds of the city. A chilling wind howled through the narrow passage, sending shivers down my spine.

The Art of Life and Love: The First Spark

The Art of Life and Love: The First Spark

Dillon eventually chose to start at the top and then work his way down. The top floor was largely clothes and souvenir shops, a couple new ones too. The third floor was probably his favourite. Almost all the shops weren't there last summer and included places that sold tobacco and tobacco accessories like Zippos and pipes. Dillon wasn't a smoker, but he had a nice Zippo collection, if he did say so himself. There were a few booths scattered around that sold jewelry and different spices and incense. The scents of the third floor were strong, but incredible.

Tyler then winked, white teeth flashing. We turned right when we reached the corner. This time, more shops are calling at me situated at the side to the pathway we are traversing. Dress boutiques, candy and chocolate stores, perfume stores, dessert café, and a bunch of coffee shops and restaurants. Gosh, this was the busiest street I’ve seen in my life. Not to mention expensive. “This is Moonburn’s Business Park,” explained Tyler. “Any business that is built in here will always prosper.” “How can you be so sure?” I crooned.

Dangerous Pleasures

Dangerous Pleasures

"Don't be silly. It's not even a full moon. Oh, here we are." She turned into a strip mall and I surveyed the occupants. There was an H&R Block, a fish and chicken joint, a Great Clips, and an, oh shit. Sure enough, Aly pulled up to the shop on the far right where the large windows were curtained, with only four mannequins visible. Three were female, each wearing brightly colored lingerie, and another was male with only a tight pair of red shorts. A pink sign was shining in the window, advertising Adult toys and novelties, lingerie, DVDs, etc. I realized my mouth was hanging open a little and I was staring. Aly turned to me with a big grin on her face.

The Heiress & Her Scottish Mafia Twins

The Heiress & Her Scottish Mafia Twins

“Behave.” Cat squealed and ducked into a boutique bursting with crystals, scented candles, and velvet drapes. Declan followed her like a guardian, prepared for chaos. We drifted through shop after shop, handmade leather journals, cashmere gloves, vintage silk scarves. Locals glanced, eyes rolling or curious, depending; some whispered, others paused, caught off guard by the procession of style and danger and gold. Then we entered Merchant City, stepping under archways into narrow arcades, Argyll Arcade, Royal Exchange Square, where jewellery stalls gleamed under glass ceilings and street lamps cast pools of honeyed light. It felt like walking through a treasure trove.

My Badass Luna

My Badass Luna

(Alison P.O.V) As Ethan led us down the bustling road, I marveled at the array of shops selling various antiques. The scene was vibrant, with the vendors' shouts mingling with the chatter of customers. Some vendors were hawking their wares loudly to attract attention, while others were engrossed in conversations with potential buyers. The shops displayed an eclectic mix of treasures from bygone eras: grand old standing clocks reminiscent of our grandparents' time, vintage telephones, and myriad other antiques.

A Million-Dollar Marriage: A Story Of Heart Over Contract

A Million-Dollar Marriage: A Story Of Heart Over Contract

She was able to finally get her hands on an address that might actually lead somewhere. Summer heat shimmering off the pavement, Gianna walked through the ghetto side of town, past a series of shops in the district, until she found the one she was looking for. Gianna lifted the sunglasses she wore, off her eyes and stared at the numbers painted over the door of this particular shop. 221. She walked up to the store and went inside. The inside, surprisingly, was not as bad as she’d thought it would be. Even with the amount of things stuffed inside it, the air wasn’t killing. Sunlight filtered through grimy windows in lazy shafts, catching dust motes that danced over towering shelves crammed wi
