David teased, making Daniel grimace at the impending future awaiting him. We all laughed, seeing how David's remark had caused an effect on him. "Yeah, and until the real trouble arrives, you'll have to deal with lots and lots of diapers. And not just any kind–the worst kind," William chimed in, his voice laced with amusement. "The ones that reek so badly you can't tell if it's your child or a skunk in the room."

I was sure that she had smelt worse things. “Now, get the wipes and make sure that you clean every last bit of this little man. Remember, you're not managing anything. So you use it adequately.” I watched as she turned him around, lifted his leg up and cleaned every bit of him. She looked so graceful doing it. It was like it was her everyday chore. “Now, get the diaper, open it up and make sure that he's placed properly on it. If he's not, it'll eventually move and that will be such a mess. So, make sure it's placed properly and then secure the sides.”

I was a goner. Convincing them took less than five minutes. Matteo whined. Luca raised an eyebrow. But in the end, they saw it too. The little boy that would become ours.
