Sighing deeply after noticing the visible displeasure on Juniper and Ahlum’s face, Vera shifted her head to them, telling them why it broke Persephone’s heart. “Zadicus and Persephone have been lovers ever since they were fifteen.”

Moon Touched

Moon Touched

Not ever. I was never meant to be loved. My mother made certain I understood that cruel truth. To her, I was a mistake, a complication that shattered her life and my father’s heart. Hades, the mighty ruler of the Underworld, was devoted to his radiant queen, Persephone. She was everything he adored—golden curls cascading down her back, emerald eyes sparkling like sunlight on precious stones, and curves that ensnared the admiration of all who beheld her. Her beauty was legendary, a blessing and a curse that drove Hades to madness with jealousy.

The Accidental Vampire

The Accidental Vampire

Whatever price sh had to pay--Hades knew that it does not come cheap with his father. “You never learn to give up.” He said disgusted at him for preying on weaker Gods.” Persephone is your granddaughter and that woman had no business with us. She is nothing but a regular sin-eater.” “Oh, but Zeus’ son love her. Persephone here hated love because she was never loved by her own father. It’s a win win situation for me, where ever I put my beans now--I am winning.” Gradually and Hades anticipated the transition, Cronos left her mind and body and it was Persephone again, he tried to reason with his wife and to let go of the woman who was still under some sort of a sleeping spell. Persephone did n

A Scorned Luna's Revenge

A Scorned Luna's Revenge

You should focus on your pack and mate now, not on a woman that hates you. “Persephone does not hate me,” I said out loud. “I beg your pardon?” Theo who was standing before me asked. Persephone could not hate me. She loved me. Even when I was torturing her by being with April, she loved me. Even when I turned my back on her time and time again, siding with April and letting people mock her, she loved me. In the end, when I walked into that cell after she spent seven days there, her eyes had lit up with hope and she called my name with something akin to excitement.

Descent

Descent

I think the real reason why Hades abandoned Proserpina when she was a kid was because he was afraid that once his wife finds out about his infidelity, she will take revenge on his daughter similar to what Hera did to her husband's many illegitimate children. If it wasn’t obvious enough yes, Righteous Purge happened because of Hera. Proserpina is literally Persephone’s name but in Latin. Hades naming Proserpina after Persephone was a move meant to pacify his wife since he's bringing his kid to their home.

Revenge Of The Rejected Mate

Revenge Of The Rejected Mate

“Where have I heard that name from?” “Persephone is the Goddess of Spring and the daughter of Zeus and Demeter's daughter.” She hands Carmine Chickpea. “You know Idris is correct about incest. After all, Demeter is his sister. Persephone is also married to her uncle Hades or Pluto whatever name you prefer to call him. And has a son named Zagareus and a daughter named Melinoe with him.” Wisdom doesn’t stop walking. Carmine stares at Wisdom wondering how she knows all of this about the Greek Gods. Then he chalked it up as she must have studied it in school.

The Destroyer

The Destroyer

To help her escape the ever-growing pollution of the mortal realm, he sent her to Olympus, where nature reams pure. The story of Persephone and Hades is as old as time, and history seemed to repeat itself when the most recent incarnations came together. The laws wouldn't have changed if it weren’t for their love. I wouldn’t be riding beside Ismene-Eirene as my betrothed and probably wouldn’t even be coming to the Underworld in the first place. If the laws hadn’t changed, I’d have already been forced to wed Daphne by now. Just another reason I want this meeting to go well. I want to ensure that Lord Hades and Lady Persephone see that I am different from Eugenius.

A very good read but the ending was suddenly abrupt. After not having an update for longer than normal, I came to check the comments to see if others were clamoring for updates only to see that the story status now said completed. That said, I hope to see other stories set in this world.

What a brilliant and enjoyable read. Fantastic characters, great storyline, definitely a book I could not put down and would happily keep reading if there were more chapters! Looking forward to reading a sequel very soon in the future, thank you author!

Is It Love? I: The Princess and the Hunter

Is It Love? I: The Princess and the Hunter

Does he? "I love your own perception, Cakeu! Their tragic love story is one of my favourites too. But Persephone and Hades' love story is the best for me." Agape. That's it! It's her turn! "I want someone like Hades." She sweetly said with her usual sweet smile. We were dumbfounded. H-Hades? Why Hades? "Why the underworld King? He's evil." I reasoned. She shakes her head, keeping her smile.
