Dimension Portals Novels & Stories

She needed clarification. “Yes and no. The vampire castle is not parallel to this part of the demon world. Neither is the town you went to university. Think of it as you are traveling across the world, but you also add that you are traveling across a plane to the other side then must travel across the world. The way the forest portal works is that it saves time between the travel. You follow along the thin line between the worlds to arrive at a single destination that is in a different part of the human world.” Elcid explained.

Meanwhile, at the Celebrity Millennium Cruise Ship, Staff Captain Nathaniel was so busy doing his navigational report as they will be heading to the deepest Harbour in England, the Falmouth Docks. Falmouth Docks are deep-water docks of the town of Falmouth in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The docks are the southern shore of the Fal Estuary which is the third-largest natural harbor in the world and the deepest in Europe. Nathaniel needed to keep himself busy as he was so devastated by what was happening with his relationship with Kristina. He was so hopeful that her mother can convince Kristina to listen to him. He knew that Kristina cannot resist her mother's plead.

Hopefully, he might agree to release me. When I returned to Beelzebub's dorm to thank him for organizing the fight, I noticed a secret door wide open at the corner of his room that I had never seen before. Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to check it out. As I opened the door, I found myself in a dark, mysterious room filled with strange objects and artifacts. As I explored the room, I discovered a hidden portal that led to another realm. Gasping in shock, I mumbled, "He kept the portal here."

“You know I can’t,” “I wonder,” I think out loud as I read over some of the pages again, “This indicates that there are seven possible portals ‘doors’ to another realm, and possibly more ways to open them, each a variation of the information we gained in Tolba, isn’t Mathias’ mother still alive?”

“I ken he used that method because his shine was low. Is that correct, cousin?” Lance gave me a loving look before nodding. “It took a lot to find my one true love.” Nora looked disappointed. “So, you won’t be going through the mirror again?” Anton patiently smiled. “I ken that, between the three of us, we can simply dematerialize to make the trip.” “We can do that?” I gasped. “I thought that we needed a portal.” “Aye, lass. ‘Tis the proper way when one’s shine is healthy,” he replied. “Portals are mainly used to travel dimensions, not timelines.”

Mellana stops and turns to us. “You can go in, Dora. She’s already waiting for you. You stay with me.” She says letting my mates know that they can’t follow me any further. They nod their heads. I make my way inside making a quiet prayer to the moon goddess for protection. I knock on the open door. “Come in.” A woman answered.

“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

None of them looked toward us. Not once. As though... We didn't exist. Or perhaps... We weren't really there. I slowly backed away from the entrance. Then... Understanding struck me. "The caves..." Molly looked toward me. "They're portals." I nodded slowly. "Each one." "Standing portals." She followed my gaze toward the glowing passages behind us. "Different destinations." "Different times." "Different places." My pulse quickened. The ley lines weren't merely tunnels beneath the earth. They connected everything.

At its center, a dais floated above the ground, inscribed with the crest of the First Flame—the original bloodline, thought long extinct. But the real marvel stood beyond that: a wall of mirrors. Not glass. Not reflections. Portals. Each one shimmered with a different hue—different worlds, timelines, or choices. They pulsed in sync with Althea’s heartbeat. One flickered with a burning city. Another, with a lush, untouched forest. One showed her—older, radiant, leading armies with Cassian and Xanden at her side. “These are… possibilities,” Xanden breathed. “Or warnings.”

The gateway, known as the Portal of Astral Reckoning, held the promise of unveiling the mysteries that lay beyond the known astral horizons. Victoria and Alexander approached the Portal of Astral Reckoning with a sense of anticipation. The celestial guide spoke of the portal as a cosmic threshold that would challenge their understanding of the universe and lead them towards the precipice of astral enlightenment. The luminescent energies of the portal shimmered with the potential for profound revelations, beckoning the custodians of celestial enlightenment to embark on a journey that transcended mortal comprehension.
